The ink pad was appropriately juicy. The actual stamped color was not quite as vivid as the color shown with the product. Stamped images were blotchy with both photopolymer and red rubber stamps. Naturally, the blotchiness was most noticeable with solid images such as balloons. With some card stock, the blotchiness of solid images softened somewhat over time. With lined images, the blotches were not as noticeable, particularly as the color seeped into the paper with time.
I was hopeful that these inks would be great. But the pigmentation was not good and then they bled through my thick card stock. I'm so bummed. Will be moving on to my normal inks that I buy but I also purchased the re-inkers. Oh well.
I bought several colors when they were on sale. They are good quality, maybe not as good as some other brands I use, but good enough that I find myself reaching for them often enough that I feel they were worth the purchase. The colors are beautiful!
These stamp pads are fabulous! Wonderful palette of harmonious colors, made with the ever lasting LINEN inking pad surface, rich impressions, very true to the color advertised. I cannot say enough about these ink pads!
Note: I have used a "specific brand" for over 20 years. I was a TRUE junkie of this "brand". Nobody could have told me there was anything better. My finances and this "brand" were not seeing eye to eye anymore, so I tried Umbrella Ink. I was so excited and pleased once I got some of these ink pads in my hands to use, I sold ALL of my other "brand" ink pads, refills and markers! Try one of these pads and you will be convinced too!
These are just Awesome Ink Pads, Just as good as any bar the Lawn Fawn Inks(a VERY Slight Ink Formulation Difference - this is only how it stamps and settles in the card) BUT These have the colors we are craving and look forward to adding more to my collection!!
