If you want to stamp on small precut pieces of paper, it is easier to apply a thin layer of paint to the foam stamp with a foam brush, lay the stamp on the work surface face-up and then apply the piece of paper to the top of the foam stamp and press LIGHTLY. Pressing too hard will cause the paper to slip around and smear your image.
