Tear out pages from old magazines. The glossy (slick) pages work the best. Put a page down. Emboss or glitter your project and then tap off the extra powder or glitter on to the magazine page. Then roll it into a funnel and pour the extra back into the container. The powder and glitter don't stick to the magazine page. Then just throw away the page, so you don't get embossing powder or glitter everywhere.
