I attended a class on journaling where the professor explained a study that had been done on the importance of journal writing. Two groups were used for the study. One group wrote in a journal daily and the other did nothing (the control group). At the end of the study the blood from the journaling group contained more T-cells than the control group. T-cells aid the human immune system.
Writing our feelings, getting in touch with our emotions and describing the good that has come from situations can actually be an avenue to good health.
