Stop Ribbon Fray
Submitted by: scrapbookingforothers
I cut the ribbon at a very slight angle, not too sharp. Then I light a big kitchen wooden match and let the flame even out and then just barely touch to the angle of the ribbon all at once and it will melt the end. Please do this over your kitchen sink with water handy and ready to put out the match if you need to. I have had ribbons catch on fire and I have had matches break and go flying! So be safe!
