mini accordion book (my version)
Submitted by: liz5077
Create your own mini accordion book
for this project you will Need:

1.. (2) 6x6 inch squares of background or texture paper
2.. (2) 5x5 inch squares of card stock
3.. (2) 4 3/4x12 inch strips of card stock
4.. ribbon and fibers as desired
5.. stamps and other embellishments to match your theme

How To:

1.. Use your 6x6" papers to cover your 5" squares of cacard stocks if each were a present. Be sure to cut the corners at a diagonal to make the folding of the corners easier. These will create your front and backcover
2.. Cut your 2 long strips of card stock (4 3/4x12" )and glue them together,
overlapping them by ½ inch. Now you have 1 long strip. Fold this strip on
the seam where the 2 pieces are joined.
3.. From the fold, mark 4-3/4 inches and crease.. repeat this step every 4 3/4" to form your accordion book
4.. Trim off any excess paper to make the pages even.
You're done making the pages!
5.. Glue the front and back covers on to the inside pages (accordion insert).
If you want to make a ribbon closure, glue the ribbons on the back cover before attaching the pages. This will enable you to tie it in front cover once your done for an extra design element.
6.. Stamp and embellished as desired, add photos, quotes and journalling to personalize and you're done!!

Why not give it a try, post and let me know how it goes. Have fun Happry creating!!!

Liz
