Eric Carle Cheap Splatter Paper/Cut-outs
Submitted by: Luri
I got this idea from Eric Carle's children's books. They are full of wonderful illustrations. I saw a video of how he made his paper and I had to try it. It's a wonderful creation. He basically takes tissue paper (which you can get very cheap at places like the dollar tree) and he splatters paint on them. You can take certain objects to "sponge" on shapes, take the opposite end of your paint brush, to make squiggly lines in the paint, and just have fun! It makes wonderful paper to add to all the plain white card stock I have. It's also great for cutting out shapes, it gives whatever your using it for a real "pop" out appearance!
