Setting photos into paper with exacto knife
Submitted by: Lori13
First mat the photo. Place it onto your patterned paper (usually paper with printed images), and mark your paper lightly with a pencil where you will begin and end your cuts, so that the particular image will overlap the photo. Place your paper on a self healing cutting mat. With an Exacto Knife, cut around the parts that you want to overlap the photo. Erase the pencil marks, carefully slip the matted photo under those parts to make sure you have cut enough so that the matted photo will fit. You might have to make further cuts before you actually glue the matted photo in place. You may also choose to glue the overlapped parts of the images over the photo.
