Making Your Own Stamps
Submitted by: scrappergirl10109
Everywhere I look, stamps are so expensive. I find ones I like, but I'm not going to go spend 7+ dollars on just one stamp. I've found that I can make my own stamp for much cheaper and it's very personal. To make your own stamp, take a piece of craft foam(just the kind in the big sheets for kid's crafts is fine)and draw the shape of the stamp you want. Then, using an Exacto knife or a blade, cute out the shape VERY carefully. Then, you can either run the shape through your sticker machine or spray that spray-on glue stuff in the can(I'm not sure what the name is of it, but i know Elmers has some). Then, stick the shape onto a wooden block or a glass stamp block(both work just as good). I hope this technique comes in handy for you. It sure does for me!
