Pop-dots from UM scrap
Submitted by: KatieTCO
I make 'free' pop-dots and get more mileage from my unmounted stamps by using the scrap. After cutting out the unmounted stamps, the scrap pieces can be saved and used as pop-dots. Cut the scrap into the size pop-dot you want, then separate the rubber from the foam. This leaves the sticky surface of the foam exposed so don't separate until ready to use. Just place your home-made pop-dot in place and then remove the remaining protective paper - voila! (Hint - I've found that really small pieces of scrap tend to lose their protective backing paper while I'm cutting the UM stamp. I don't save those really small pieces. I keep the scrap in a baggie and the adhesive doesn't dry out.)
