Transparency Backgrounds and Journaling
Submitted by: Shana_Banana
I was in a scrapbook store the other day and paid $3.00 for a transparency sheet with some wedding quotes on it. I loved the idea to use something similar to this all throughout my wedding scrapbook, but that was going to be so expensive. So I went to the office supply store and bought a whole pack of 50 transparency sheets for about $20. Thats pretty cheap compared to 3.00 a sheet.

You can use these sheets the same as vellum.
You can print titles,
black and white photos(neat idea to print a picture for example as a 8x10 in black and white on transparency, and then use a 4x6 color photo set at the bottom for a neat effect),
quotes,
backgrounds,
journaling,
and so much more.
For those of us, like me, who are too scared to run mulberry paper through the printer, you can print your title on the transparency paper, crop, and add to your mulberry and you have a wonderful title or quote that looks like it was printed right onto the mulberry.

My example is for my layout of my father walking me down the aisle at my wedding. I typed up nicknames, poems, and quotes that were special to us in neat Fonts . Then I set my margins on my computer as close to the edges as possible, and later cropped the rest. Some of the quotes started in the middle of the sentence to give it a "full justified" complete look. It worked out perfect for a background with a 4x6 picture of us placed on top.

There is so much you can do with it, the possibilities are limit-less.

I hope that this inspires you to try something new...
Be a happy scrapper,
Shannon
