Paper towel holders work ok for ribbon storage, but even better is the over the faucet shelf that has a paper towel holder too. If anyone has one of these they are great. I have one and got alot of storage plus I can have several items handy while using wall (vs. floor) space in my room.

I also use peg boards (like the kind in hubby's garage) to hang things so I can see as much as possible.

For awhile I saved trays from food packages (like lunchables and cookies), cleaned and air dried for sorting things and storage.

I also saw a old cassette tape(s) tray in a magazine that was painted and used for ribbon storage (it looked nice) but I have not tried it.

Finally, I bought a storage caddy with a handle so I can keep my frequently used items (markers, pens, scissors) close.
