3-D Pretties
Submitted by: Taterdawg
I love the Jolee's Boutique and other 3-D stickers but they are slightly expensive. So I have kinda created my own. Hobby Lobby or anywhere that does custom framing has a backer board, I have always called it Gator Board, but it is foam core. You can buy this in regular or archival about$3 to $5 a sheet, but it is a very large sheet. I took a class once on Paper Tole and I have adapted it to scrapbooking in a certain way. I normally buy duplicates of die cuts or cut out pages. 2 flowers of the same and some leaves and small piece's gator-board if you cut them out totally with no backgrounds use the pieces of board in-between you get some very pretty looking 3-D flowers. You [lace the pieces of board in between the flowers and you cut or bend the petals to where you can see some of the bottom flower then bend them leaves and glue them as a grouping underneath the flowers. I use this board in other ways to get elevation on different things and a little goes along way. I have used allot of it and have not gone through more than a quarter sheet.
