I do this when working overnight shifts, but it's a helpful tool for anyone who is stuck with downtime away from home:

Use MS Paint (or any simple computer paint program) to create a template for your preferred page size and save it.

Save thumbnail-sized images of the photos you wish to scrapbook - this is easiest to do if they are posted on Facebook or another online album.

Scan or search online for logos, images, and designs you like.

Use the "Paste From" command in MS Paint to import your miniature photos and images onto your template page.

Work out layouts, coordinate colors, choose fonts, and identify needed materials for your pages. Be sure to leave space to the side to note font names and color codes.

When you get home, you can sit down with ready-made page templates and set to work!
