Flowers, blooms & petals on a budget!
Submitted by: embellies
While the flowers made for scrapping are beautiful and AF/LF ~ I get a lot of my blooms from craft stores too. Here's the trick: wait for spring! Or better yet, spring clearance!!

I say this because around this time of year; big, BRIGHT, colorful flowers are in style. Have you ever seen those M&M brand bouquets (real dyed flowers)? Well those are the colors you'll find around spring. Irresistible, and perfect for those eye-popping LO's!!

... and for any of you that might not know, you just take them apart. Cut the stem and remove ALL the plastic pieces - including the center of the flower; then use the petals. I like to use multiple layers to create a nice effect & fix them together with a coordinating brad :)
