Artist's Comments:

The top border was created by tearing a strip of 12 inch cardstock and temporarily affixing it 2.5 inches from the top of the page, with the torn side at the top edge of the paper. Then the tree stamp was stamped with embossing ink, stamping partially over the torn paper to create a natural tree line. Dark green embossing powder was applied and heated after every four trees. The embossed tree stamp in the circle was given a slightly lighter tint than the trees in the border. This effect was achieved by mixing a small amount of lighter green embossing powder to the dark green before applying and heating.
