Tips:
- Distress your paper before cutting out small shapes. Small pieces are more likely to tear when being distressed. Larger shapes, such as photo mats can be cut first, and then distressed.
- Speed up the drying time by using a blow dryer to dry paper that has been crumpled.
Technique "Twists":
- Cut titles out of your distressed paper.
- Make antique-looking frames by sanding and chalking a patterned paper.
