You really captured the essence of the tropics and I love how you toned down the busy, bold and most colorful papers. Perhaps delicate lace and or thin ribbons could be added to the middle of your mini book, kept simple on the binding yet adding another dimension to the gap you mentioned where the bags separate in the middle of the book. A simple ribbon, elastic or delicate off-white simple lace looped end to end run vertically to the right of your cover frame on the ouside of the album would work for a closure.

I am new to scrapbooking and have watched many of your videos of the minis that you craft and they are just beautiful. I am going to be trying to make one in the next week. Thanks for all of your ideas.
