2. Santa Paws Layout
These days, it's so easy to take fun, creative, and oftentimes really funny photos of our favorite furry, scaly, or feathered friends! Katrina Hunt used an exclusive Scrapbook.com digital cut file and fun papers from the Fancy Pants Designs Home For Christmas collection to commemorate her three little 4-legged elves.
💗 Tip: It's not Christmastime if your pet hasn't been dressed up in a silly costume, had their picture taken on Santa's lap, or been posed in front of festive holiday decorations!
3. Beautiful December Planner Dashboard
Creating new monthly dashboards is one of the happiest times of the month for planners! Dedra created this beautiful planner dashboard that not only is absolutely beautiful, but also absolutely inspiring! In candy-cane colors and dashes of holiday gold, Dedra's dashboard is straight from our sugar-plum dreams!
💗 Tip: Mix and match styles like Dedra did above. Realistic + cutesy and matte + shiny, pattern + solid... play with the colors and designs that you love!
4. Layered Die-Cut Tree Layout
If you love paper - first of all, you're not alone - and second, you probably have more paper than you sometimes know what to do with. We found a small solution to your paper surplus resting in our Gallery: this layered tree layout! Just pick your favorite papers and cut them into a cone tree shape! Add an inspirational quote, photo, or your favorite embellishments and voila! Not only did you create a Christmas project that's unique, you also used up some of that paper stash! Two birds, one stone!
💗 Tip: The We R Dial Trimmer is an easy way to cut scalloped and waved lines in a flash!
5. Christmas Memorydex Project
The holidays can be a total whirlwind of fun activities, events, shopping, wrapping, and decking the halls. Why not deck your Memorydex Spinner with some festive features and memories too! This fun set of cards designed by Jamie Pate use Heidi Swapp's perfect Winter Wonderland collection to capture the true magic and merriment of the holiday season. Have a fun spinning Rolodex of memories and events for family and friends to flip through when they visit for the holidays!
💗 Tip: Create a fabulously festive winter-themed Memorydex, or a daily December one with a page for each fun day of the month. You can even make just one fun holiday card to mark the moment in your everyday Memorydex. The choice is yours!
7. Handmade Christmas Ornament
For the ever-practical gift giver, this is the card you'll want to give this holiday season. If you love to create cards that double as something utilitarian, look no further and make a card that stands in for a Christmas tree ornament! Use chipboard, wood, or matte board as the base and decorate to your heart's content for a joyous seasonal card that will be enjoyed as a decorative piece for years to come!
💗 Tip: Try using wood on wood to create a seasonally appropriate rustic effect. Kaisercraft has a cornucopia of wood flourishes available that can be painted, colored, glazed, and more!
8. Easy Blended Background Cards
It's hard not to stress during the holidays, but this is a perfect example of the kind of stress you want - DISTRESS! Ink that is. Tim Holtz is always a good choice for holiday supplies and cardmaking. If you're lacking time during the holiday rush, a clean, streamlined card such as the one above using a little bit of ink blending and a digital cut file will get you through a stack of greeting cards in no time!
💗 Tip: For simple and easy cards, stick to the holiday color palette that works best. You can never go wrong with red and green!

💗 Tip: After creating your small paper village, find some battery operated electric tealight candles to set them aglow with seasonal spirit! Small battery operated string lights will also have the same effect.
10. Tree Shaped Advent Calendar
Why make a simple advent calendar when you can make one shaped like a Christmas tree?! This unbelievable tree created by Kathy Skou is so cute and imaginative, and we would be thrilled to see this waiting for us in the month of December. With teeny tiny boxes on top for the first week of the month, and then progressively getting larger, this is one project that you're definitely going to want to make for your household!
💗 Tip: Advent calendars are exciting little treats for kids, adults, coworkers - anyone on your list! The contents can be cute little notes, small treats, silly presents, or anything else that can fit in the boxes or envelopes!
11. Punny Christmas Card
Christmastime is certainly a juncture that allows us to reflect on more heartfelt messages and beliefs, but that doesn't mean it all has to be serious! Have some fun with your Christmas cards this year and give one that's sure to turn a smile into a chuckle - like this laughter inducing card. With sweet kitties playing in the snow, a sleepy sheep, and a pun that says "all I want for Christmas is ewe," this card will be remembered for years to come!
💗 Tip: Use a paint brush to add snowflakes to your Christmas card by mixing white paint or ink with water, dipping a paint brush in, then holding the paintbrush over your project and tapping it to let the droplets fall. Make sure you practice this technique beforehand, as the results are usually unpredictable... but so is snow!
12. Mix and Match Ephemera Layout
Grab a few holiday and Christmas-themed ephemera packs with tags, frames, and pieces, and just start creating some random brilliance! This layout by Gluemore Girl is filled with lots of fun sayings and icons, along with a wonderful vintage throwback photo. Some of the ephemera pieces are even matted with patterned paper that gives this whole page a festive Christmas feeling.
💗 Tip: Embellishments are an easy way to add tons of colors, patterns, textures, and layers. Mix and match to create totally fun kaleidoscopes on your Christmas projects this year!
13. Idea-ology Mixed Media Project
This project is a combination of delicate snowy elegance and rugged rustic charm, with a little bit of antique charm thrown in for good measure. Create a unique, one-of-a-kind home decor piece this winter when you play around with mixed media and Tim Holtz Idea-ology products. A little bit of grit mixed with a hint of glitter and one of the paper doll ephemera pieces makes this a snowy dream to proudly display during the coldest months of the year.
💗 Tip: Mixed media is all about mixing products, techniques, colors, and textures. Don't be afraid to add a little grunge to Christmas, especially with Tim Holtz products!
14. Christmas Goodie Bag for Holiday Confections

15. Trifold Snowflake Card
Who said snowflakes have to be white? We're starstruck by the gorgeous and bright intricate snowflakes all over this imaginative trifold design card. The combination of angles with snowflakes delicately placed atop of them creates an unbelievable snow flurry effect when closed or opened to reveal a simple, elegant sentiment. This is a fantastic, original way to send someone a handmade greeting card for the holidays!

16. Mixed Media Gift Tag
Combine rustic country charm with trendy and chic fashion for a mixed media gift tag that could possibly be even better than the gift itself! The tag is constructed with various layers of Frank Garcia's Christmas in the Country collection, including papers, charms, and gorgeous wintery flowers. It's then topped with a stamped Julie Nutting doll, Jayla, for the perfect finishing touch!
💗 Tip: Sometimes the best crafty creations come from mixing two unlikely collections. The rustic but beautiful Christmas in the Country collection made Julie Nutting's chic Mixed Media Doll really pop!

Be it the table setting at Christmas dinner or a candle display on your entryway table, creating a layout in the color and style of this year's holiday decor is a fun and expressive way to capture the jubilant colors, textures, and patterns used in your interior design!
💗 Tip: Try to use Christmas song lyrics to describe what is happening in the photograph you choose to scrap! It's not only a fun exercise, but it will give the whole finished piece an overwhelming presence of holiday cheer!
18. Christmas Planner Layout
Sometimes decorating your planner can be as easy as 1-2-3 - if it has pockets on the interior! Fill up your planner pockets with cute clips, seasonally appropriate ephemera, stickers, flowers, cards, and more to give your entire planner an explosion of Christmas merriment each time you open it! This album, created with Graphic 45 supplies, is one to be remembered for years to come. House all of your Christmas layouts, cards, recipes, photos, and souvenirs in an album all about the happiest time of the year.

22. Baby's First Christmas Layout
Baby's first Christmas has never looked so cute! This layout is all centered around the common motif of the reindeer - from baby's clothes to the ephemera, stickers, and die cut background! We couldn't help but share this adorable keepsake.
💗 Tip: Change your color scheme to pastels to fit for a baby-theme like Tarrah did in the layout above - Christmas red and green were changed to pink and aqua: closely related, but soft and sweet.
22. Nativity Cards
Let's not forget the reason for the season! This touching Christmas card reminds us of the spiritual side of Christmas in its simple, yet effective silhouette of the beloved Nativity and a beautiful angel watching over the scene. A couple cut ephemera pieces and some delicate splatter effects gives it a 'homemade with love' feel that you'll cherish!
💗 Tip: Even the silliest of kitchen mishaps and odd-shaped gingerbread people can make an unforgettable scrapbook layout. Enjoy the laughter and the fun but take a few quick snapshots to scrap the best memories later!
