An Important Message From The Scrapbook.com Family
In light of events related to COVID-19, we'd like to check in with you. It's important to us that you know we are here for you.
There are some things we can all do. We can slow down for a moment to breathe, smile, and create. We can make the best of our situation. We can craft from the comfort of our homes. We can make cards of encouragement. We can document and journal the important events of our lives.
Like you, we at Scrapbook.com are doing the best we can. Some of us are working from our homes. Others are working on-site in our warehouse under carefully monitored conditions. Our hope is to serve you during this challenging time, to help you keep a sense of routine and normalcy, and to empower you to do the creating you love.
We care about your well being. We will make it through this together, no matter the challenges ahead. Let's stay inspired and hopeful.

Is Scrapbook.com Still Open?
According to Executive Orders laid out by Governor Doug Ducey in the state of Arizona, Scrapbook.com is considered an "Essential Business." What this means is that we are shipping orders while strictly following the guidelines of our state government. We have also received the encouragement of local elected officials to continue operations.
Several weeks ago, well in advance of most businesses' responses, we made large and swift changes to the way we operate in order to protect all of our colleagues, customers, and partners.
Some of the protocols we established in our distribution facility included:
- Mandatory hand-washing stations
- Protective facial masks
- Temperature checks upon arrival to work
- Required social distancing
- Sanitization en masse, multiple times daily
- Limited facility access
- Staggered shift-based work to minimize people on site at any given time
These are just a few protocols we've implemented so that everyone remains safe and healthy. Please know that because we are prioritizing everyone's safety, some orders may see slightly longer processing or delivery times.
Will Scrapbook.com Remain Open?
We consider it our civic duty to follow the guidance of our Federal, State, and local leadership. We have diligently followed the guidance and orders of the State of Arizona, the US Government, and the CDC over the last month and will continue to do so.
We have been in close touch with government officials to receive guidance about whether or not they want us to stay open. Under Governor Ducey's Executive Orders, we have been deemed an Essential Business and have the support of local elected officials to continue operations.
Our hearts ache for all of the businesses that cannot remain open at this time due to government closures or other factors, and our thoughts and prayers are with them.
We will continue to operate our distribution facility under carefully monitored conditions, and we will continue to monitor the situation and follow the guidance from our government leaders. It is our sincere hope that all businesses, inside and outside of the craft industry, can reopen at full-capacity soon.
What is Scrapbook.com Doing in Response to COVID-19?
The health, safety, and well-being of our employees, colleagues, customers, and community is of the utmost importance to us during this time and at all times. We have set up remote work options for every job possible and have taken extreme precautionary measures in our facilities to ensure the safety of everyone who needs to be on site.
We are also doing everything that we can to help our local community. At a time when traditional suppliers have exhausted their supplies of masks and other protective devices, we have utilized our supply chain relationships and worked with local leaders to help where we can. We purchased over 50,000 protective masks and are donating them to local nursing homes, hospice care organizations, healthcare facilities, and hospitals that were running critically low on PPE supplies. We will continue to utilize our supply chain expertise to source and deliver these supplies where they are needed in the coming days and weeks as needs increase.
We have also expanded our global Cards for Kindness initiative. We encourage you to use the supplies you have at home, or purchase supplies in a safe delivery or pick-up fashion, to make cards and join this initiative. This is a way you can help spread kindness while at home. You create handmade cards and send them to us, then we will safely deliver them to a wide variety of organizations that support nursing home residents, breast cancer patients, military members, children's centers, and more.
You can even check with your local post office to see if you can arrange a free package pick-up when you've finished making your handmade cards, so you don't have to leave your home.
We're all in this together. For free at-home crafting content from Scrapbook.com, see our guide here.
