I own an online kit company called Artsy Albums, have 2 grown sons and one ADORABLE granddaughter. Hi everyone! I am Susan - currently a full-time RVer for 3 years now. We travel around in our 5th wheel but spend much of our time in Texas and the SW. Our winters are spent in South Texas. Learning to scrap in an RV has taken time - not a lot of room. I keep my albums out in the SUV with some iris cases of pp. Other supplies are in the drawer under the couch and in a cabinet. I scrap at the kitchen table and have to clean up every time I stop. I have to limit my supplies which forces me to use up stash. Of course I end up buying more supplies! I do 12x12 albums and some 8x8 ones.

Hi! I'm Elizabeth and have been a scrapbook.com member for 10 years now! My, how time flies!!! I started scrapbooking in 2006 at the encouragement of my best friend, Susie. To be honest, I really did not want to take up the hobby due to expense and our house being so tiny. But, she bought me a rolling cart with my very first scrapping supplies for my birthday that year and it went from there!!! I made layouts and cards standing up using my washer and dryer for tabletop for 10 years! The rolling cart went to a small chest of drawers, then a large stand up cabinet in the tiny washroom! In 2016, Susie showed me a picture of the cutest travel trailer made into a "she-shed". My husband wanted to get me out of the washroom and we had talked about purchasing a storage shed and setting it up as a craft room, but when I showed him the travel trailer, we talked it over and decided that would be a better way to go since it has cabinets and a table or two. So, my son and I went looking and found a 19+ foot early 1970s travel trailer and that's what I got, for much less than a storage shed would cost to set up! My friend gave it the name I use today....my Craft Palace! It is my happy place! My son made me a real nice table that crosses the width of the trailer and I can roll right up to it. There is also a smaller desk where I keep my Cricut and Big Shot. He also put in LED shop lights so I can see beautifully! I live on the eastern slopes of the Cascades in Washington state but am originally from Fresno, California. I have two grown sons that are still at home, ages 27 and 25, and have been married nearly 38 years! I love to make layouts, cards, tags, and have made the 4th page of a Treasures Journal. No way can I call it a Junk Journal! I love doing all sorts of crafts!

That sounds like SO much fun, Susan! I am so intrigued! I must say, those YT videos of families traveling in their RVs are just a blast to watch and so addictive! I would LOVE to watch one where they scrapbook, too! I am sure it is an art to do it in a moving vehicle.

Oh my goodness, Elizabeth! I hope you can show us photos of the Craft Palace sometime! I know we all would LOVE one of our own, how amazing! That just is the best story, from your sweet friend Susie getting you involved in crafting, to standing up using your washer and dryer as a tabletop while crafting (that is dedication, friend!), to now having your very own 19+ foot Craft Palace!

Hey Jean I have notice as my girls have gotten older how hard it is to have things to scrapbook about! I do have a few big projects to finish and a new grandson so yes having a little does help!!!

Hello all. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Peggy and I live in a little town on the Canadian prairie. I'm single (as of 2016, after a 30-year marriage). I have no kids of my own but I do have a couple of spoiled little doodle dogs who turn up in my gallery a lot, and a bunch of great nieces and a great nephew, whose photos I also scrapbook (I don't post them anymore though).

I began as a card maker in 2008 and have been scrapbooking since 2009. I still make cards but I also do ATCs, pocket letters and pretty much anything else you can swap. I don't do any other social media, so scrapbook.com is my on-line home, as well as my scrapbooking store.

YEs, with an almost 3 year old and 1 year old, I am back to scrapping like crazy!

Hello, My name is Janet. I in the beautiful Ozarks near Branson, MO. I did a bit of scrapbooking when my kids (now in their 30's) were in high school but not much. But when my first grandchild was born....I just had to do something more than a photo album. He's 8 now with two younger cousins, plus I have numerous nieces, nephews, cousins etc so I have plenty of material. Branson is a tourist town with lots of things to do and , and I love seeing other's posts of their Branson visits.

Susan.. living in an RV must have it's challenges... I have challenges in a small home. I love that it doesn't stop you from creating. my sis in-law is a seamstress and her brother built a fancy 'table' for her to have up front and use in the passenger seat.. sewing away. No vertigo in her...

I'm chuckling.. yeah for an American introducing scrapping to you... Sometimes I wonder how the stores in other countries are.. Here our local scrap stores are so few now.

I look like I'm thread hogging. I'm Diana and started scrapping in 2005 to document a big trip we took to Italy. A friend took me to a CKC convention and after I recovered from the shock of seeing so much 'stuff'.. I really jumped into supplies... I scrap our two grandkids and also for my two adult children (occasionally). I love this craft... having sewed to the moon and back, hand stitiched many pretty 'pictures', crocheted, and did other crafts. Scrapping has lasted the longest.

You should not run out of ideas for a very long time Lucky girl!

Diana, you asked about the scrapbooking stores here in Austria and I have to say, that there are none left that I know. It never became very popular here, but we had a few shops 2 hours away, but they are gone already. I mostly order my things online in Austrian or German crafting stores or in the craft stores, where you can find stamps or stickers or other little things.
And I have a wonderful cousin who sends me care packages from time to time. ❤️

I actually have pictures in my gallery of my trailer that I took in 2015. I'll post a couple of pictures here and then you can go into my gallery from there....



There are gobs of pictures of the inside when you go to the trailer picture, but here is the table my son, Sam built for me. It is so much easier on my back to be able to roll right up to it.



He also put in LED shoplights so I can see better out there.

I'm assuming your name is Di! LOL Where do you live? Not sure if I mentioned I live outside of Cashmere, on the eastern slopes of the Cascades, pretty much in the middle of the state of Washington!

Oh, I forgot to mention....before I started scrapping in 2006, I made all sorts of things, plus other hobbies included sewing (which I did for years), photography, embroidery, crocheting, some knitting...amongst other things!! I have been crafting since I was a little kid!

Hello! My name is Jody, AKA JoJo Noons. I started scrapping 12 years ago. I had started a scrapbook for my husband about an off-road recreational vehicle club he had started. That first year was filled with different events which I took pictures of. The next step naturally were to put them into a book so he would have something "concrete" to look at all he accomplished in one year.

Good Morning and Hello! I'm Maria from CT I started scrapping in 1999. We were looking at DD's album with the photos stuck on the page when my son asked, "Where's my baby book Mommy?".
I think scrapping is in my DNA since it turns out my sister, Aunt and cousin are all scrappers too (we found this out years into our hobby as we live in different states).
I am married almost 30 years and have a 25 yo DD and 23 yo DS who are on their own now. I scrap everything: us, the kids, the fur kids, friends and fun.
I enjoy the challenges on this site and the daily inspiration I receive from everyone here.
I enjoy other things like reading and crocheting, taking walks and times with family and friends.
