Tonight, we're having bubble pizza (which I'm calling bubble bake so I don't have to put pepperoni in it and can add veggies) and salad.
Prep Time 10 Minutes
Cook Time 30 Minutes
1-½ pound Ground Beef
20 ounces, fluid Pizza Sauce
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, divided
2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Divided
2 packages 10 Count Buttermilk Biscuits
Brown and drain beef. Add sauce, stir in 1 cup cheddar and 1 cup mozzarella.
Cut biscuits into quarters or smaller. Fold into sauce.
Pour into greased 4 quart pan (or 2 smaller pans).
Bake at 400F for 20 minutes. Top with the remaining cheese and put it back in the oven for 10 more minutes.
(Baking time may vary from oven to oven. Spaghetti sauce can also be used instead of pizza sauce.)
*I'm making my own sauce in the CP with turkey, green peppers and onions. I'm going to use just the mozzarella and stir in canned mushrooms when I mix in the biscuits. Someone suggested that it be made in a springform pan to make it easier serve so I'm going to do it in my set of 3 heart shaped pans and dump the rest in a casserole.
