This one is not finished. Just wanted you opinions on this. I'll finish and take another pic tomorrow. this already took me 2 hours.. first time i drew a sketch for myself (very proud of that i might add) and am happy with the placement.. but i've never done this with the colors.. think i like it. let me know anything!! thanks
Weekly Challenge #22: Multiphoto LO The white space in the center bugs me. Please read my description. Then, consider these questions: Should I go against the sterile look of the flowchart a little bit and 1) go ahead and ink the edges? What color? 2) fill that white space in the center with script that reads Get Well Soon? All ideas and suggestions are welcome. Please note, I have pushed these pieces around this page so much, I no longer have fingerprints; but if you can come up with another configuration you think has more flow, by all means...
Funny thing is, it looks more clean & simple than my actual Clean & Simple LO, and my Clean & Simple LO looks Funny-er than my Funny LO. I guess the judges will ultimately decide the categories, right?
Anyway, I did consider inking the edges of the entire cs, but am not completely convinced that it's necessary this time.
Okay, im brand new here so this will be interesting!! I uploaded this layout earlier today that i did on sunday.
I think it would look better without the brown stickers across the top but there stuck there so i guess its too bad!!

It looks like the title on the right side is up higher than the left.. but irl they are actually lined up evenly left side right side
I ended up getting rid of the stamp and butterfly. It seemed to take away more than help. Thanks for the suggestions, I just had to get this one done. It really was some therapy for me.
and i'm going to enter it into Lucky 7.. so i'm going to do all the product list later.

I did this as a challenge that a friend of mine on here is hosting. I wanted it pretty simple.. and the pp is very busy so I didn't add too much to it. Can you tell i got heidii swapp ghost things?? (thanks brenda) I didn't glue anything down yet, and I'm not 100% sure on those photo corners either. Now that i look at it uploaded they seem kinda weird to me. I'm going to try to glue it down tomorrow.
So Sharon reminded me to post my (very late) response to the Beatles challenge and off I went to the (apparently old) weekly challenge thread. And now I've just found this thread. I think I need stronger meds! Oh, wait, I don't have any meds...just plenty of empties!? OY, the sigh hit that happens when your computer crashes & your camera goes bye-bye.
Well, I DO have my 1st post-crash digi-layout and it is my response to the Beatles challenge; Sharon, thanks for the reminder! From Me To You
So my own challenge drove me to the freakin' edge this week. I had a bunch of objects in my own house but didn't have photos of any and, of course, that would mean shoot, trip to photo lab, yadda, yadda...so I ended up digging up an older photo & then went crazy trying to figure out how to journal about the objects that were all over it. I *hope* it worked out...I feel like it did. Thanks for the great responses to the challenge too.
I know I've uploaded a whole batch of layouts so pardonnez moi (excuse me) to anyone who gets those emails every time I upload. Combo of broken computer + no camera backlog, pretty much. No need to comment on them all but I do *really* need help with one in particular because it's part of my anniversary surprise album & doesn't "fit"...it's just bugging me:
Well, if anyone is on.. i'd definitely love some suggestions. Noting is glued, what i want to do is in the description. I'd like to finish it before I go to work today.. not sure if that'll happen, guess we'll see.
Ok here's the finished product. Sorry I finished so quick, don't worry about the last one.. I was just having difficulties with the title, but I finally found what it was missing (after about 10 min. of just staring at it) i put a stamp to fill in the empty space that was driving me nuts, and fixed it.
This was such a fun LO to do! And not to mention it only took me about an hour! quickest i've gotten one done in a while.. i think it's the pp.. i just love it and it gets my creative wheels turning. lol photo shoot
