I'm not homesick for Arizona anymore! And if I moved I would miss my garden, most of it transplanted from my Grandma's yard. The only other place I'd kinda like to like would be San Diego, so I could be close to my sister's family.

If you had to chose another state to live in, which would it be? Well, if I choose today I would say way up in Northern MN on one of the lakes, but then again I would be a far way a way from my favorite scrapbook stores!

If any of you IA scrappers wants a flyer for the Crop for the Cure on September 17, 2005 in WDM, please pm me your address and I'll get one right out to you.
So far, we have the following vendors signed up: SU, CTMH, CM, Picture Perfect, TLC, Longberger and Cathy Z from Simple scrapbooks said she is sending a really cool goodie bag with tons of simple scrapbooks products. TONS of items are coming in for the garage sale and this looks like it's going to be a GREAT day of fun.
We'll also be playing scrapbingo for prizes throughout the day. Each participant will receive a goodie bag and have their name put in for the door prizes drawings.
Cost is $25 for a 12 hour crop (includes food) or $35 if you register after 7/31.
I'd be happy to send you all the details. Thanks!! Debbie

No, I haven't been there, but two of my friends have been there and one likes it and one doesn't. How is the product assortment there? I really like Cottage Corner & Scrappin For Keeps but it seems like I've got everything in both stores already!
Hi! I'm Sara and I live in Forest City. Our LSS in town is closing in a few weeks, but there is another one in Lake Mills - Treasure It - which I just adore, she just opened this fall! I'm new to the area and I'm looking for scrapping buddies! I've lived in lots of places over the years - grew up in Riceville, went to Luther College in Decorah, have lived in Cedar Falls a couple of times and I spent a summer in Des Moines as far as other Iowa towns go. We have also spent about 5 years living on the east coast. I just discovered scrapbooking over the last year or so and mainly buy my stuff from the LSS's as they are closer than Mason City and more helpful.
Hi, I'm Sheri. I live in North Liberty (just north of Iowa City/Coralville) and have lived here for 4 years. I grew up in Waterloo and lived in Georgia for 2 years while my husband was in the military before returning to Waterloo.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 11 1/2 years and we have two great kids, Hayleigh (10 years) and Nate (7 years).
My favorite LSS is Memories on Fifth in Coralville. But my goal this year is to stay out of the stores and use from the enormous collection gathering in my house.
I like living here in Iowa, but if I am forced to pick a state other than that, I would have to say anywhere that is warm.

If you had to chose another state to live in, which would it be? Maybe any state that the Rocky Mountains run through where I can live in the mountains with a beautiful scenery outside my scraproom window, no snow on the roads (only on the trees and grass), be cold (no horrible wind chills), and not be able to look out any of the windows in the house and be able to look in the neighbors window if their curtains/drapes are pulled open. Well, I can wish can't I? But for now I love Iowa and mostlikely never leave.
