I'm not technically a delaware scrapper but I live just over the border in PA so I mostly shop in Delaware. But, not an active bunch. Where are you located?

Do you have any good LSSs around you? Dover's a bit of a hike with a 1 1/2 year old but it's possible... we are not all broken out with great LSSs up my way.

Hi guys! I am in MD but just barely (I could walk to the DE/MD line). I shop and crop in DE since there's nothing around me. It's great to see people from my area

I shop @ Heartfelt Memories in Newark, DE. It's the only LSS that I know if near me. There's NOTHING near me in MD. There used to be a store in Lewes, DE that I would go to occasionally. They were closing and someone else bought it. I haven't been there since that so I don't know what it's like.

Hello, all! I'm a Delaware Scrapper! I'm in Dover. Is Heartfelt Memories the one on Kirkwood Highway? With the dog Smoke? (I think that's her name!) I've been there a couple of times with a good friend of mine. There's also one in Middletown I went to with her once, couldn't tell you the name or how to get back.

I mostly run to AC Moore and Michael's when I need something. There's also a stamp store in New Castle, but I don't think they carry much scrapbook stuff. Mostly stamps and artsy altered art stuff - which I love, too! Anyway. If anyone knows of any crops or new stores or anything, let me know!

Good morning all you DE scrappers! Mrslevite-where is the stamp store in New Castle? It sounds like it's worth checking out. Also, if you could find out the name of the store in Middletown I'd like to get down there and see it. Thanks!

Yes, Heartfelt is on Kirkwood Highway (with Smokey the Dog) I crop there once a month with a friend of mine. In fact we're going this Friday night. Can't wait!!

The Rubber Stamp Store is the White Swan at 309 Delaware Street in Old New Castle. I haven't been in quite a while, but when I would go with my friend, we would always have lunch at Jessop's Tavern.

I can't remember the name of the scrapbook store in Middletown. If I find it, I'll let you know.

I went to Scrapbooking and More on NSD and fell in love! They have product there that I haven't seen in Jo's or Mike's or Heartfelt. I was going to order some sarabinder stuff but they have it all. I totally recomend you guys check it out. That pluss the gas station right out front has the cheapest gas I've seen in weeks. $2.77/gal.

I went to Scrap and More a couple more times. It's not a huge store, but that's probably a good thing. Each time I go in, I want one of everything. I did get my prima flowers the last time I was there. Now I have to use them so I can go back.

Hi, I am going to be camping in Felton this weekend. Any LSS or chain store in the area? I would prefer to go to a LSS.

Hi Geoduck! I'm not in DE but just a stone's throw from there. I'm in Elkton, MD. Do you have ANY area LSS by you? There's nothing here anymore now that Heartfelt Memories is gone.

I know for sure there is one in Middletown, DE and I believe a new one opened in NewCastle, DE. I haven't been to the one in New Castle yet and I don't know what either of the stores names are.

Hi!! I've been looking for people in Delaware. I live in smyrna.. just a few minutes north of smyrna, few minutes south of middletown. kinda right in the middle of it all. I mainly go to ac moore, michaels, jo anne, and occasionally wal mart as they are getting so much more stuff for scrapbooking (surprisingly enough)!

I'm in South Jersey, but I'm always over the bridge to DE. I'm glad you're listing stores to visit. I haven't found any so far other than the standard craft stores. Although Big Lots is good for some stuff. I've gotten great deals on glue dots and other clearance items!

Ok...I'm replying to myself..oh well.

What scrapping projects did you all get down this weekend? I did a 2 page spread about my 2 brotheres and their beards. My brother came home for Christmas from Montana with a black, brown and grey beard...we were hysterical. But it looked good.

I'd post it but I'm digital camera -less.

Love my new Basic Grey papers and match book..that's my next fun activity!

Anyone out there in DE???

It was nice that the snow was starting to melt. Maybe the end of the drive way will not be the skating rink it has morphed into.

Anyone read the thread about what to do with the Basic Grey tags in the kits? Any other fresh ideas?

Hey guys! I stumbled across a link to an all day drop in Elkton, MD if you're interested. It's 10-10 on March 24, $30 and there appears to be all kinds of things happening. Here's the link: www.freewebs.com/missy_the_scrapper/index.htm

And I found another LSS! It's in Belcamp, MD about a half hour from Elkton. Might have to take a road trip this weekend!

Cyndi,
the link didn't go anywhere.

I'm glad you found a LSS. I think the one in FoxRun in DE is closed. The was the closest to me.

Nothing going on tonight.

Sorry guys! I fixed the link so that it works.

The LSS in Fox Run closed because the restaurant next door flooded into the shop. She was supposed to open another store by the Lowes but I don't know if she did.

Geo,
Did you get into any classes at CKU in July in King of Prussia? I think I signed up for 4 and get in free to the convention.

I've been there 2 times but this is the 1st time I'm taking classes.

Julie,

Yeah!! Last time I went I tried to sign up for classes but they all filled up! I am going Saturday and taking the Arcylic Mania, Up to Date and Magnetic, and the Disney Board Book. I got a free pass too! Wahoo.

When are you going? Maybe I'll see ya. Or if you want to ride up Saturday with me and my friends we could do that too.

Thanks Jen, I'll let you know about riding up with you.

I LoVE the CKC... this is the 1st time I'm taking classes. None of which you pick

It was stressful registering for classes, wasn't it...I didn't know if I'd get in. It was like a mini cyper race!
I'm taking "Be Happy", "Basic Grey- Latest & Greatest", 'Here Kitty', "wild & Crazy"

later

Hi everyone.
I just moved to Middletown. I was very excited to see that there was a scrapbook store just across the way, but when I took a closer look it had closed down. It was the Scraop and More store. My neighbor told me that the rent was raised so they closed down.
I would love to meet some fellow scrappers from this area! I am setting up my basement as my scrap room as well as my sewing room. I do have to share with the hubby when he has poker night.

Hello everyone...I am looking to start doing day crops in Delware. I would be doing them in different part of DE. One month maybe in Bear, next Newark. It would be 12 hours. Since I am just starting out it would be nothing fancy. Meals would be served and snacks. If you would like to be part of these crops please email me you email address. I am also looking for vendors and people to do classes during these crops. I have just moved to DE from NY were I have done a few day crops. I am hoping to meet scrapbookers. Thanks Barbara
