I'm in Vassar (near Frankenmuth). I'm always looking for new cropping opportunities. I know of some in Clio, Millington, and Birch Run. I have crops at my house monthly and have two retreats a year (Chesaning and Leonard near Oxford). I also own Michigan_Scrapbookers Yahoo Group and Joanne Tersigni's Scrapbooking Group on Facebook. I live in Garden City, near Detroit Metro Airport. Glad to see a group of MI gals.
If your interested I'm hosting a 12 hr crop at Garden City HS on Jan 29th (9-9). The cost is $30 all proceeds go to the Girls Cross Country team. I will feed you breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have raffles and vendors. I've been hosting this one for 7 yrs now. Wow time flies. If your interested give me a shout and I'll send you a flier.

Hi, I'm in Bay City. I crop at the LSS in Midland since our Bay City store closed up a couple years ago. I do like to do a retreat once a year. Last year we went to Sunset Shores in Clare. This year we are too, but if you ever get a chance, go to Memories Manor in St. Clair. It's awesome there too. Always looking for a good retreat location.

I am not far from you. Maybe about 20 minutes. I have only been here since the summer. Are there any places not too far that hold crops? I dont know many people around here and have no one to scrapbook with. I moved from a larger town where I didnt have this problem. Any scrapbooking stores? The closest one I have found is in Midland and then Jo-Anns in Mount Pleasant. Any informantion you have will be greatly appreciated.
AniPie, do you know about the "Sticker Store and More"? It's in a shopping center on Dix, just past Eureka - I think technically it's in Southgate, not Taylor. From Wyandotte it's probably easiest to get there by taking Fort to Eureka, and left on Dix, then left into the shopping center (I used to live in Riverview, and my parents still live in Allen Park - but now I'm in Indiana). They have a nice variety of products, though not necessarily all the newest and hottest papers, and the paper is very well displayed and the embellishments well categorized. I like to go there whenever I'm in town.
Just checked the address for you to look up - 15401 Dix-Toledo Rd., Southgate, 48195.
Nice to see someone nearby...I am technically Brighton Twp but can see the "Entering Hartland" sign from my road! Kids go to Hartland Schools. I live very close to Lakes Elementary. Just recently joined up here, have been out of the loop scrapbooking for almost two years due to a house fire. Lost everything but am starting to repurchase and get going again!
I live in East Lansing .There are not any independent scrapbook stores in our area. There is Scrappy Chic is Livonia and Scrapbook Tree is Shelby township. Scrapbook Tree is a very nice store with unfriendly staff. Wonderful Scrapbook room to work in. They have a sketch club though that is often using the scrapbook room so it seems nearly impossible for someone not in the sketch club to use the scrapbook room on consecutive days. I do not think they have scrapbook weekends, just individual days.
