A question inspired by another thread over on the Beginning Scrapbookers forum...

What would you consider your signature item(s)? Is it eyelets? Primas? The fact that you only use Bazzill and never any other CS? Are you silly about sewing? Or phanatic about photography?

Anyway, I was going through books/layouts over the weekend, and noticed that I use either ribbon/fiber or brads (and sometimes both) on almost every single layout I ever do. So I guess I would consider those my "signature items"...

I only use Bazzill cardstock and I use ink on 99% of my LO's!

Ummm, I have none (or maybe brads?) unless someone else can look at my layouts and tell me otherwise. I guess MAYBE it would be ink (like for inking edges). Hmmm...

I haven't really defined my style yet, having only done cards so far (but the LSS has an all-day crop next Sat where I'll spend 10 hrs straight FINALLY sorting all my wedding photos and planning albums WHOO HOOO!!!) But seems on most of them I distress/ink the paper edges. Just don't care for one piece of paper plopped on top of another. I like at least some slight outline to it.

I think Bazzill would be my item. I use it almost exclusively for my solid cs.

Wings. Almost everything has a faerie in it somewhere, even the non-faerie los. Does that count as an item?

I would definitely say ribbon and inking edges. I like the texture they both help add.

I really need to put some stuff in my gallery. Haven't had a chance to take photos of any LOs yet.

I think my layouts are defined by my use of only Bazzill cardstock, my varying sizes of photographs, and my ability to do every page different and give them each their own special flair.

*Seriously the Bazzill one the most. If I get any other cardstock or plain patterned paper in a kit I either give it away or throw it away.

Don't know if this counts but I always print out and color my own letters. Every time I need to make a title I make it like that. Does that count?

I love Bazzill just as much as the next girl, but it's not readily available where I live. Except for a few packs of Bling or Cardstock with an Edge at HL, that's about it here.

However, I DO have a signature item. I think my screenname gives it away, though. Yes, it's bling. I tend to use bling in some way, shape, or form on evey LO or card. Whether that be gemstones, loose glitter, or Stickles, there is some bling somewhere. I have to hide it on my son's pages.

I don't have just one signature item, but I do use the same few techniques over & over. I tend to tear the edges of things alot, and I ink the edges of things most the time anymore. I am finding that a large portion of my pages have flourishes and flowers right now.

I am a newbie, just a few LOs and no style (yet), but I cannot make anything without stamping all over. I am a stamp junkie...

my style is more, try everything at least twice. Use as many pictures as possible and never look back with a critical eye.

I'm with NoirCat, I try to fit as many pics into one LO as possible. My DS (my scrapping subject) is always up to something different and I want to scrap it all without having hundreds and hundreds of layouts (although, I'm sure I'll get there someday ). So I make it my mission to use at least 2 pics on each LO, unless it's a special case.

I don't have a signature item. I use a very wide variety of items, perhaps that's my signature

I don't think I have a signature item, per se. But I do tend to use humor on most of my LO's. Looking through my gallery, I'd say I do some sort of doodling on 99% of my work. That's not really an item though.

Ink,ink, and more ink. I ink until I can't see any boring edges. I follow up this step with, flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Often,I find myself inking them...

I like to tear edges and apply chalk, I like to use My Mind's Eye paper, I like to apply hardware, as in brads, eyelets, photo turns, small frames, D-rings, ribbon sliders and so on. But I don't think that many items would count as "signature" items. They are just things that I do a lot. I will use 5x7 photos now and then, but you won't find me cramming lots of photos onto a page. I'll spread out to two pages, instead. Perhaps three. Gotta have room for the hardware!

what ever my most recent purchase is when it comes to tools. in the beginning, it was everything that a CM Circle Cutter could cut. Then we got into alphabet stickers, then came the Sizzix machine and now the Cricut (and with every new cartridge!!! )

Oh and the xyron 'X' is in that mix too!

i would have to say that my 'signature' items are usually starting out with some type of solid American Crafts Paper (becuase it heavy weight paper...almost a cardstock) I love the vibrant colors of American Crafts for my toddler scrapbooking...and i love that they are all double sided.

and i usually always journal with Millenium pens! I LOVE THEM!

I use patterned paper on just about every single layout. Some people are scared to use it but I love it.

I would have to say Bazzil and hand journaling. I also do use Cats Eye inks on just about every layout.

I do not have a signature item. I use a variety of different things on my LO. However I guess if I had to pick it would be sizzix dies, and my Fiskars border punches, and my CM punches.
