OK, I have seen a LOT of great lo with circles on the page. (Cut out circles, where the middle is empty...kwim?" How is this done? Is there a good template to buy to get this look? I'm dying to try it but don't want to screw up 50 pieces of paper to figure it out if I don't have to. TIA!
I am NOT a C.M. fan and have only bought two things from them ever ever ever--but I have to say the circle cutter works really well and easy and has lasted me all these years with perfect circles. ('Course I don't really use it all that much but still, I like it.)
I use the Fiskars circle cutter. It has a little pin in the middle you can expose so you can line up the cutter for your second cut. (need to cut outer circle and then cut inner circle). Tool is inexpensive and I have had mine forever.
I am new scrapper and the only circle cutter I have ever used is creative memories. The first try was perfect and so easy and many sizes or on one disc. I couldn't ask for anything to be any better and fast. I am too shakey for hand cutting circles!!
Another vote for the Creative Memories Circle cutter from their Custom Cutting System. I used the Fiskars circle cutter when I first started. It was okay but I found that it slipped quite often. As soon as I discovered the CM circles, I gave my Fiskars circle cutter away. The CM system has other shapes too. I definitely use the circles the most but also really like the ovals.
I'm not a huge fan of CMs designs but their tools ROCK!
