.....Doodling is fun and not at all scary. Try it on your next layout. Don't even think about it and for goodness sake, don't do it in pencil first......just do it and post here

You will no be returned to your original program in progress.

I made this using the Craftersworkshop doodling templates. Not sure what i'm going to do with it, but it's my doodle.

no. Doodling without the template would've been easier than realigning the template for each part of the petal.

I've doodled both ways, this is just the only doodle that I have scanned in to show.

I've just recently started to doodle and I must admit, I LUV IT! There should be a warning though, "it can become habit forming". LOL

I love doodling so much and have been doing it for years. I have to admit though that I really love the doodling templates:-) they are so much fun to use and you can do so many kinds of doodling things with one template. FUN!!

I love everyone else's doodling but not mine -- like hand writing

I was too, at first. I practiced on first on the page protectors that come in albums. Until I got my confidence up. I do use templates as well, except for adding dots, which is my favorite. If I make a mistake, either cover it with an embellie or do it over...I finally just told myself that it's only paper.

Doodling is just adding hand drawn elements to a layout. You can draw borders, flowers, lines, whatever. Pretty much everything on this layout is doodled. there are lots of stamps and templates that give the lookof doodlling but it's just as easy to fre hand it.

I agree with op, but I do it in pencil first, cuz I guess I am a little anal.

I won first place in a layout contest at my LSS with my first attempt at doodling! I did this all freehand including the title (and like the above poster, I did mine in pencil first).

I suck at doodling.

Seriously. I could draw a stick person and you'd think it was an owl or something.

Here is a great example of doodling by a talented friend of mine,"Sewscrapsleep". I think she did it freehanded. Link
