So I've really been wanting a circle cutter..but am completely unsure which to get! any thoughts?

I want to be able to make a range of sizes. It helps that my birthday and christmas are coming..everyone always wants to know what I want.

I use a couple of sizes of dinner plates to trace and cut out. So I am not much help!

I love the Creative memories one!! but I am a bit old fashioned when it comes to the really large circles - I use a compass - its great!!

I originally started with the Creative Memories one too, but found them really awkward to use. I tried the Ek Success Curvy Cutter at a friends place a couple of months ago and loved it, it was so easy to use and you could make a great range of circle sizes. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago along with the glass mat and have just got it in the mail. Can't wait to get using it!!!

Creative Memories, but you're limited to the size circles that come with the set.

Dinner plates and Curvy Cutters are all I've used and so I'd have to say the Cury Cutter is my favorite. I just have the circles and there are several different sizes on each of the two templates(or guides) that came with it.

If you go to crops a lot, nothing beats coluzzle! plus you can use the knife and mat with so many other templates.

I just asked this in the Very Laid Back Challenge i am in with 35 other girls and the consensus in there was the EK curvy cutter OR the Creative Memories one. I am hoping to check both out before making the investment. From what they said the Coluzzle(sp?) you either love or hate.

Just thought I would pass on the info I gathered. I can't do the plates/bowls/cups thing because my scissor skills are lacking...

I have this also. Have only used it a couple of times so far so can't really tell you how well I like it yet.

I also have the creative memories and have had them for years. Love them but again, can't get large circles out of it.

another vote for the EK Curvy Cutter! I love that it's easy to use AND you can make the larger circles. That was the best selling point to me.

I've used the Coluzzle and Creative Memories, and CM is much easier to use IMHO. I love mine - I have the circle and oval templates. CM has new blades that swivel so you don't have to turn your hand around to make a complete cut around the circle template.

I got mine on Ebay cheaper than CM sells it.

I'm a Coluzzle girl myself although I don't like anything but the circles and ovals. Love them.

coluzzle for me too...I bought another one (the name escapes me but similar to the martha stewart one) and found it only works with my coluzzle knife! (not the knife it came with). I would like to make bigger circles but I figure I could do the dinner plate thing. The tools are all so cool I think some of us (ok I)get carried away buying gadgets!

I have the Fiskars templates, which I like. I have the Creative Memories, which work perfect everytime and I have a Sizzix that cuts perfect circles each and everytime!! (However, the size is limiting) The choice must be your own.

Ahhh im so glad this was posted!!! I have just started getting into the circle thing...

If I understand correctly the pink one only cuts circles and the other cuts circles, ovals, and round edges? i might be totally wrong though? which one do you recommend?

tia!!!

Not sure about the pink one but I have the others and love them.
The cutting tool works for all. You can buy each separately. The circles, ovals , rounded square and the custom shapes has waves which are really cool and you can cut a very large circle and other ovals.
I would really recommend this tool.
...and it's very easy to use!

Hands down... Coluzzle. So affordable and a great, easy-to-use product. I have tried many other circle cutters and after purchasing the Coluzzle, I threw the others away.

I am shopping around for a circle cutter too, and I think I've settled on this one. However, all of the ones I've seen come with the ovals, not the circle template. Are there any out there that come with the circles instead? I noticed that the one on sb.com doesn't come with any templates.

I love Creative Memories. It doesn't slip and you have quite a few different sizes to chose from.
