I love DCWV. Let me think on this, this weekend. I will let you know Monday. I have a hard time making LOs for myself but this might just be what I need to get me going. LOL

This is perfect to get a person going on layouts. I've done a couple of these page kit swaps. All I have to do is pull out a kit and the layout is halfway done

I think I'd like to join, but I'm not sure I understand 100%... What are the group choices? Renea signed up for groups that I didn't see.... And does it have to be from the stacks referenced, or can it be anything DCWV?

Hey Audrey! good to see you, of course I'll have you

Swatmommy, this started out as a different type of page kit swap, but I think it was too expensive for people right now so I changed it to a use up your stack kit swap, much more affordable. You can use ANY stack for any group as long as it fits into the theme. Page kits are great!

I wont know until Monday. Went to M's to get the Once upon a time stack and they had no DCWV stacks and I was told they might not be carrying them anymore . So I have to check at Scrapbookers Pardise to see if they have anything because I LOVE DCWV.

It could just be the Ms here in Lethbridge, Alberta. From what they said it all depends on what is sold and then shipped from their wharehouses. That whole supply and demand ********. I hate retail. LOL

Yeah, they don't have much at the M's here in T-Bay Ontario, either. Might be a Canadian M's thing...

I lived in Lethbridge for 15 years, loved it! I miss it soo much and can't wait to visit this summer. I am soooooo going to Scrapbookers Paradise, lol.

I'll join in, let me think about which ones I'll do and I'll post later.

Swatmommy you should see the weekend event Scrapbookers pardise is having in Calgary. I wont be going this year but I will attend next year. I cant leave the baby for that long yet. The cost is like $135 and it is for 2 days, workshops and designers for some of the big design lines coming to give demos. There will be door prizes and all kinds of give aways. You should check it out for next year too.

Okay swappers out there. You know you have leftover stacks laying around, what better way to use them up and come away with some page kits.

I went to this event a couple of years ago with some friends, it was AWESOME!!!! I had a fabulous time. I won't be able to go until we move back in two years, when dh is done school. You're making me jealous!!! But don't stop, I love having something to keep me going, lol.

LOL when I go next year I will share all the fun. I am looking forward to this Saturday we are having a scrapping frolic at Scrapbookers after hours and it only cost $5. Scrap all night from 5-11pm. I will see how long I can stay it all depends on how well Veronica does with her babysitter, big sis. This Tuesday I am learning how to make an acrylic tag. Not sure what is involved but will post it all in my blog later that day.

I remember I went to it when dd was just a baby. Dh stayed at his parents house 1/2 hour away. He drove to the hotel every 3-4 hours where the crop was so I could nurse her, lol. That was back in the days when he was a little more understanding of scrapbooking, before it became "my little problem" and a huge financial burden, rofl!!!!

Ladies, I've given this several days and there just isn't enough interest right now. This swap needs several swappers to be sucessful. It seems that swapping on the boards is down overall. Given the economy it's not very surprising.

Do you have any suggestions of something you like to do?

ohhh I bet

Okay, I think I'm going to open something I'd really like and it's inexpensive. I'm thinking of doing some journal spots. Call me crazy but it's sooooo convenient to have them all made. I have to go dig out a couple I made.

I'd join except that I won't do anything that requires sending 12x12 sheets. You know I have tons of DCWV stacks (seasonal plus most of the themed ones - not the new ones yet but I'm working on a few of those too ) If it was just the handmades with no background paper or maybe up to 8x8 I'd do it.

I'll keep watching to see what happens.

Great suggestion Lias, just the handmade and probably an embellishment baggie.

I'm off to work right now, will give it some reconsideration

I'm giving this a try again using Lisa's suggestion. Hopefully there will be more interest, but if not nothing lost.
