Kelly, yes I'm using the E and SCAL for the fonts. I used a repositionable glue tape to adhere the words...very carefully! With the repositionable it's easier to make the words straight. I also use the glue tape on the page under the words, just for a little extra. You can probably see it when I scan the page, but live you can't tell. Hope this helps! Here is another lo I finished this evening.
acu! Hello Ladies! Hope everyone is having a great Friday! I'm looking forward to a beautiful weekend. We're going to see our DS's new house and then flea marketing w/him. We'll probably visit my DM and sister while we're in Ohio. Then I hope to get some time in the scrap room! Have a Great Weekend...I'll be checking in later!
Good Afternoon Ladies! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!
Kelly thanks so much for your great ideas. I like the idea of putting the card on a 12x12 page. I already have an album of just printed recipes, so I'm thinking I'll put them on cards and add some embellies and put them on 8x11 cardstock and right back in the album. Thanks again!
I also having been considering the From My Kitchen cart. I actually looked at it yesterday at Hobby Lobby..picked it up...and put it back! I'm in the Sept. No Shopping Challenge so I can't shop until I finish my goals! Better get busy!
hey all, jci, hope everyones had a great weekend and will have a wonderful week,i went out today and bought the from my kitchen cartridge,so i can't wait to play with it,i love too cook and read recipes, one of my fave things to do and with my daughter getting married in may,i want to try to get her a recipe book together,i'll hush now,bb
I am planning on making a book of dd's favorite recipes for when she moves out. That probably won't be for awhile (she's a senior in high school) but that's ok cause it will probably take me awhile to finish the book. haha! I thought that signing up for the recipe card would give me the push I needed to get started on it. I am just stuck on what size i want to make her book. I may just wing it and change it down the road if need be. Hopefully I can start on it this week. Thanks for all the great ideas. The from my kitchen cartridge is on my Christmas wish list so i can't buy it in case someone else already has. My mom is almost done with her shopping already.
Hey ladies! sorry I have been MIA lately! My dbf's mom was in town, so I was with her all weekend. I hope to get some stuff done here soon. I think i'm getting strep, and I don't have any health insurance to go get meds. So I wanna get as much stuff done before I am really sick!!
Thank you Tracy, Stacey and Kelly! I'm pretty excited. Kelsey said they would ship my prize packet this week! Can't Wait!
Jenn, Hope you're not coming down with strep and that you start feeling better. I know how it is to be without insurance. When my kids were in school I worked 2 jobs and still couldn't afford insurance, and of course, their father didn't help out any! Sorry, I'm babbling! I do hope you start feeling better!
I'm going to work on my recipe card this evening, I think!
Have a great evening!

Hi ladies! jci real quick! don't think i'm going to get to finish this month. Both of my kids have been sick with back to school germs. One is still sick and is at home today. Hope you all are doing well!
Stacey, I hope the little ones get to feeling better soon! Where my daughter lives they have closed the schools, 70 kids out sick and 17 with swine flu! Take care of your babies...they come 1st of course!

ok... so i'm confused. Does our items HAVE to be the themes from the first page? or does it just have to include using our cricut? I am kind of stuck on a LO for an autumnish theme. I noticed on the first page people used holiday themed items. Can I do just a normal LO as long as I use my cricut?
Good Afternoon Ladies...it's cloudy and cool here in NKY! But I love this weather, I'm not a hot weather person...the fall is my favorite time. I can't wait to get some pics of the changing leaves. I took some shots last year at Cumberland Falls when we visited my MIL and it was so beautiful down there. Well, hope everyone is having a great day! I'll be seeing you on the new thread!!!
