Is this challenge going to be held again? If you give me the outline, I can maybe host the end of this month if people are interested in playing!

Loving it!!! Yes, between expecting a loss of mojo and FINALLY tieing the knot and all the drama that means I have been out of it here. Let's do a bog July round for old time sakes!!! Who's on board? And how can we round up some new players???

We can get it started thurs the 29 with he 31 and the 1st being the actual progressives. Megan it sound like you'll have an enventful weekend. The baby is due just before Thanksgiving. He's going to be big. I have gotten quite large already.

I can provide a prize! I was thinking about going to the next town over and going to the LSS next week, so I could look for something fun.

Dh will be returning next weekend from a 3 week business trip, but I don't think he'll be home until Saturday afternoon/evening. Also I'm sure I won't have a problem with Sunday, because he'll be needing to spend some time with the kids ..and after 3 weeks of single parenting, I'll be demanding some "me" time!

I think everyone's just all messed up in the summertime. Yesterday I was thinking it was Thursday all day long, but the day before that I was convinced it was Friday all day long. Our trash didn't get picked up yesterday, because I was totally thinking it was Thursday yesterday, so I didn't get the trash put out...even when I saw a trash truck come by, it still didn't dawn on me that it was OUR trash truck.

It's nice to get lost in the days of summer sometimes. Can't wait to see what's in store for the mini. After the 'make your own patterned paper' one, I'm a little nervous.

Trust me I know about time being a mess. I sure hope the following weekend isn't too much of an issue for all.

Talk about day of the week denial, Jenny, even with the trash truck you don't want to admit the right day of the week.

Don't sweat the mini! As long as you like to scraplift you'll be fine. Since I have been in such a scrap funk I don't want to do anything to challenging at all. Besides how long ago was that challenge and I FINALLY finished those pages this week.

Jenn the bingo is a "warm up" challenge. We find that just before progressive starts we all get a little eager to start, but we can't "meet" virtually easily until Saturday, so to keep us busy we start with a bingo game. This also helps you earn points to be earned for the weekend. So find a line on the bingo card and get to making a layout, chickie!!!!

In case you're interested, here's a cool challenge. In addition to the usual weekly sketch, she's added an anniversary 10-day sketch challenge (much like the 25 days of Christmas she did). Be sure to mention I sent you!!

Did you all catch Jenn "Peasy's" Saturday progressive? CHeck it out. I think her butterfly may have to become a replacement step for making a handmade flower. She says it took her longer than 20 minutes to make.

Love you By Peasy

I have to remember not to pick a sketch or lift with too many cuts and papers. The last one I was cutting all these strips and inking them all. It was a disaster. Still, I come back for more punishment whenever I'm not working.

I hope everyone can handle 11 Eastern or 7 sb.com time for Saturday's round. Also do I have any willing prize patrol people? This will help me decide how many winners we will have.

Thank Anna, Megan, and Lisa. We'll do prizes for the top four and one random winner.

Just about to do the Bingo card, but I need to put together a list of tutorials. This bingo will be a challenge but it will help you with the handmade embellies we use in the game.

Q&A
Do I have to complete the challenge at the time you post the steps?
No. However, you cannot read ahead when you begin making the page. For fairness take it one step at a time. No sneak peeking. Also if you complete the challenge at the designated time and you are the first to finish you earn bonus points.

What exactly is this challenge?
I have posted a sample from the last one we did. It's at the bottom of this page. Here's what I came up with when I followed all the steps:
Gigglerific By Ms.Schwiet

I'm going to follow along from my mom's house on Thanksgiving day. What should I take along?
For those of you playing away from home (like myself) and plan to scrapping between bites of turkey here’s a few items to include in your scrapbag:

*3 pictures you could use less or more
**2 sheets of paper you could combine for the background pages
***Additional coordinating pages to make a home-made flower and/or to use as matting, tags, or letters for a title
****Something to distress with or mask with that relates to the pictures
*****Embellishment goodies here’s the full list but you’ll be told to pick a certain number from a certain group (take a few of your favorites and if what you have isn’t listed finish when you get home of FRIDAY): Sticker, die cut, stamp, buttons, brad, eyelets, lace, trim, beads, non scrap item, paper piecing, stickles or glitter, ribbon, stitching, something metal, punch, die cut, quilling
******coordinating flowers and flourishes
*******letters for a title
********pen for doodling or journaling

So what does JCI, MMS, and ACU mean?

A Progressive Challenge is done quickly and in steps.........it's like scrapbooking meets Simon Says with a touch of choose your group's adventure. Or it could be described as going to a virtual crop since we chat and scrap at the same time. Here's why a virtual crop can be great:

~*~ there's no pressure to buy more scrap supplies (like you need more)

~**~ it's from the comfort of your own home (including the scream/fighting kids, hubby that needs your help finding something you miss placed, crying baby, and bothersome calls from the MIL)

~***~ your supplies don't have to be packed and unpacked (because they're right where you left them- or at least that's where you thought you left it)

New info in red!!

Join me Weds. Dec. 15 for a pre-progressive challenge. We'll do ????-up-athon. This will be a list of elements you MUST have on a page. You will try to complete as many pages using all the elements.Reminder to bring a friend it give you more points!! On Sat. Dec. 18 at 4 PM est / 1 PM sb.com we'll meet for a live progressive.

At the selected time of the day, I will give directions for you to follow approximately every 15 minutes until the challenge/layout is complete. I will not even know the how the layout will turn out because you all will help make decisions as I narrate a story. It’s like a choose your own adventure scrapbook challenge.

Dec's round will have a RAK for the pre-progressive, two RAKS for highest points, and a random RAK winner

You will need common scrap supplies and 2 or 3 pictures to be decided at the time of the challenge.

You must follow the steps and you should not peek ahead if you are doing the page after the fact. You must do what the step says, but you can do more if you would like. For example if the step calls for adding embellishments and you’re told to add two you could add three.

You can play with me at that time I give the directions or you can follow later following the order when you get a free chance.

Some sneak peeks:
*Step one sketch/scraplift selection
**Step two paper selection and placement
***Step three number of pictures suggestion
****Step four add homemade flowers or embellishments
*****Step five embellishment adding
******Step six adding the title
*******Step seven the journaling, doodling, or stitching stage

THE RULES:
*Your lo has to be new as of the day the challenge, hence a progressive challenge.
**Upload your lo here within 24 hours of the last direction (the exception is to the mini progressive you have until Sun at midnight sb.com time)
***Single or double page LO's are fine. Any size is allowed too! Paper only as the directions are for that type
****On Monday, when the challenge weekend has closed, PM me your favorite TWO layouts for EACH challenge.
*****Don’t vote for yourself as you will get a vote from me for sending in your vote.
******You can start the challenge at anytime within the 24 hours
*******You MUST follow each direction step-by-step one at a time, NO sneak peeks

I'm tired...felt like I ran a marathon calculating this. I hope my math was right. Congrats to the winners. I'm quite excited thinking I think we did our first progressive over labor day last year. It was that one time that a few of us came together and decided to turn this into a monthly challenge.

When we meet for bingo at the end of this month it'll be I think a little easier than usual. Instead of making layouts you'll make handmade embellies (4 for a bingo). This will make the progressive easier because you won't have to make embellies on the spot.

I already have Karen volunteering for next months prize patrol. Anyone else interested and do I have any host volunteers?

And speaking of prizes...those that won and haven't sent me your address before please forward it to me so I can pass along your address to the prize patrol.
