Heather that could be easily added to the simple collection. Love it.

I'm about to post my next page with my soda can butterfly! I love it! I ended but tracing the butterfly and cutting it out with scissors. Now I have a reason to recycle and my hubby has more reason to drink can beer.

I love getting things like this...it is like mini Christmas and I get new fun things to add to LO's...

opps I forgot to post this earlier. I do explain how to assemble the piece to your DIY kit. You can follow the info on my blog or of course improvise

I hope you all enjoy them. You know me I love giving you all a challenge by making you assemble your own stuff. Besides they ship better that way.

Bad news: you must assemble

Good news: no battery required

Maybe a sluggish 8 o'clock so like an 8:30... that means we could go again 8 - 1 - 5 I know the last two are crammed together but when hubby gets home at six he seems to find ways to distract me so if we have a good start before he gets home it won't be so bad... be back with teh link

They are good for me.... But I also run an hour behind you....

But also I tend to scrap pretty slow so it seems like I am forever playing catchup....lol
Which I'm fine with since we have 24 hours to finish LO .
I play for points but getting done first is not a biggie for me....
I'm more worried about just getting LO's done period....:)

So 8/8:30 eastern? Or central? I'm easily confused by the end of the day. I'm definitely going to have to run down to my scraproom tonight so I can make sure I have at least a 12"x12" space on the desk that is clear for scrapping!

Sue I scrap slow to but the competitor in me comes out and i sometime wanna get done in the top three. I'm going to try to once.

Jenny get that space cleared.

I am very happy to say we have three members of the prize patrol: Megan, Jenny, and Ashley. We'll do first, second and third plus I'll cover for a random winner. I need to check the warm-up...there may be a big enough lead over there that no one can catch up!!!

note to self...less points on the warm-up so the live rounds we can still get competitive. It's always fun when Jenny threatens to steal scrap supplies so she can get a lead.

Hah! I only finished one warm up, but ....I didn't realize we had all weekend to do more.

Hmmmm...I do think I need more scrapping supplies and tools, though, so everyone better hang on tight to theirs or they just might disappear right in the middle of a challenge...oh, that would just be Terrrrrrrible!

Oh! I'd better take the camera and extra batteries down there tonight, too!!

I'm ready to go already! I just hope DH & the kids behave themselves. I have a pile of sketches & lifts organised. A pile of page kits with sketches, pics & ideas together & a pile of back up pics incase it doesn't come together. I also cleaned off my scrap table too. I have everything I need right at my finger tips. Just need to go to sleep so tomorrow comes quicker lol.

9, 1 & 5 est? So thats 2, 6 & 9 gmt shouldn't get too much hassle at those times around here. Dinner is all prepped in the fridge & sicne it's the weekend it doesn't matter if the boys don't get to bed at a specific time.

Seems too good to be true, somethings bound to go wrong. Maybe it'll by my things that get stolen as punishment for being so organised this month.

Yes they do (nice running start Sue)

And do you want use to continue to keep track of our points and how?

I can track points at this point I just can always use help double checking my numbers. The points were 25 for first layout done in warm-up and ten points per additional page. Completed layouts for live rounds equal 50 points with 15 for first, 10 for second, and 5 for third. Five points for every challenge you send me by PM two winners (even if you don't complete a page in that round you can still vote via PM for the round. Winning the PM votes and winning the poll votes earns you an added 25 points. Getting a friend or another member of sb.com to play 5 points.

Ohhh I am just as confused as Jenny when is this starting ? time with zone....lol

Shoot I thought you said 8 eastern and I had posted that some where so that is waht I have been announcing and set up. It'll be a groggy 8 so it'll be an after 8 start

It was a tie between procrastinators warm-up or bingo. I went with procrastinators and we'll do bing next month...promise. Which means think of what you want for bingo squares. I believe I had someone else volunteer to do the bingo one so whoever that was please speak up. Your on a month notice and I'm here to help of course.

Big announcement!!!

Our next meeting is also during the on-line crop for Pages In Time and as a design team member I'm expected to host a game and a challenge. Therefore our nine o'clock -first round will be at their venue. I will of course start a thread here and post links on this blog, but you might want to get an account set up and check out how their forum works.

Because I'm trying this challenge at a new site for one round, I was hoping to take a few examples with me to that site. I thought I would post the directions for one of the last rounds and show off what you all made. Would you all mind if I took your images. I'll of course give you complete credit back. Actually I might be able to post on that site your picture and it links to this site. If anyone has any problems with that PM me. When I decide specifically which one I want to use I will hollar at each individual i plan to use. I just wanted a general go ahead before I went through the trouble

Great guys. The dt leader asked us to have an example done of a layout for out c
hallenge. I had to explain that was impossible since I had no idea how it would look. I think showing off several of you guys pages will work.

Don't forget to c come over to pages in time and create an account so you can play that morning. Besides I think you' ll find the online crop and games fun.

One more note another tutorial. This flower looks super easy. http://www.yourmemoryconnection.com/paper-crafting-proj...

They do look quite simple. Whatever flower anna used four amy's swap was pretty amazing. It was like a scallop punch folded like a no sew flower

Sorry due to a recent announcement and I guess drama here. I must remove the scrap lift option. I guess I'll change to a pick a sketch and list the place you must specifically use.

Stacey,
I think it was blow up way too much...

I for one take someone "lifting" me as a compliment...lol

I read the original thread (removed now). The one they "complained" about lifted LO EXACTLY...the same paper and even titles.... Who has that kind of time and why would you want too even?

We all "save" things in our favorites of things that "catch our eyes" And I believe all "art" is inspired or a lift from something...lol

Stacey,
On the thread they was talking about "lifts" and some challenges that use them....

It didn't come from sb but as long as you acknowledged the artist which we do, and not do lift exactly (paper, embellie, title and such ) They are ok with it....

I think it silly to have to change option..... To me if you didn't want to be "lifted" maybe you shouldn't place work in a public place like a gallery...lol

Well stated. After all we show off our work to inspire others. And for goodness sake we start the challenge by acknowledge who we are lifting

I agree Megan. I would be in trouble if I couldn't be inspired by others. I'd have scrappin block:)

Hi. JcI and saw this -- which flower was this -- red or purple. I'd be glad to tell you how I made it . . .

Stacey, here's a super simple sunflower that I also used to make a pointsettia out of. It's just 2 2" circles, a 1" circle and a corner rounder. I took a picture of the sheet of paper where I typed up the directions, but it may not be super legible.
