I was just curious if anyone in the Dallas area got together to scrap. I had a group I met with weekly when I lived in Ohio, but now that I moved to Texas I don't know anyone that scrapbooks!

Welcome to Dallas! Where in the Dallas do you live? There is a place called Scrapbook Barn in Carrollton, I think, that I've been to a few times--they have an open scrap area and anybody is welcome to go. They share all of their tools and all of the merchandise is up for sale during the whole scrap-party. Let me know if that is near you and if you'd like more info.

Sorry for the slow response...work has been insane this week! Fridays would work best for me as well, but I really can't go until after the first week in Feb, as work will be crazy until then lol.

There is a WONDERFUL scrapbook store in Mineral Wells, Tx called Cat's Creations. I'm not sure if that's too far of a drive for you, but they have several people that come over from the Metroplex for crops, etc. Cat always has the best and most recent supplies, and her shop is wonderful!

I live in Garland. I would love a LSS in our area. The closest one I know of is in Allen. Their web site address is personal-scrapbook.com (Sorry I don't know how to put in a link )There is also a wonderful store in Waxahachie on the downtown square. The address for it is the craftyscrapper.com. It is definately worth the drive. You may have found out about them at the convention last weekend. They had a booth there. I was devistated when gotta scrap in Rockwall closed. Was close to me and I went there often.I took a peek at your bio. You have a very active and adventurous life. Wouls love to be friends with other local scrappers

I missed the Expo I was sooo sad. I will just have to make sure I catch the next one.

I've been looking for some local crops but it seems like there aren't many right now. Maybe because it's summer and kids are out of school? I don't know. But maybe those of us here in the area can get together sometime soon. I don't know how to organize a crop and I live in a small apartment, but there is a new LSS opening in McKinney sometime this month. They are supposed to be having a huge crop area. Maybe we can all meet up there when they open? They had a booth at the Expo too- not sure if any of you saw it but I'm super excited about a new LSS in the area!

It's called Every Last Scrap. It's still not open yet but from their facebook page it looks like they are still trying for this month. https://www.facebook.com/everylastscrap

If anyone is looking for a place to scrap a little south of Dallas in Corsicana is a LSS. The Crafty Scrapper. They do a crop every friday. I would love to have someone to go with.

The Crafty Scrapper is in Waxahachie, not Corsicana. The address is 108 S. Rogers, they just moved to a new location right on the square.

Check out www.thelittlebluehouseonline.com - the lady owns a shop for scrapbooking and hosts get-togethers. (I'm not associated with them in any way.)

I have started two groups - Dallas and Rowlett - for Bible Art Journaling - sort of like scrapbooking in your Bible as a way of journaling your experience in the Word. Message me for details if interested.

There's also The Little Blue House in Keller. They host some fantastic monthly crops. Very nice classes, too.

There's also Flossie Scrapper in Jasper/Mansfield. Nice store.
