Okay as a mini progress we are going to play a game of layout bingo. How this works is you will check out the bingo card I made and you will select one row up or down or even diagonal and make a one layout using all three of the suggested item from the three squares that make bingo. To make this more interesting, you can make multiple layouts to earn you more entries into the random drawing--2 entries for the 1st LO you do and 1 entry for each additional LO you do. We will also play on Saturday and Sunday (10/30 & 10/31) doing the PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGES!
BINGO Card for Mini-Challenge 10/29-10/31 *PRIZES* By MeganAnn Iheartaslan
And this is a MINI MINI MINI-BINGO card--I have NO idea why it uploaded like that, so I am going to redo it, but you can get started with this one.
The first BINGO layout is worth 2 entries into the random drawing and each additional layout is worth 1 entry into the random drawing. The random drawing is for a NICE medium sized RAK from moi! And ask around, I give out nice RAKs!
So what is a progressive and a mini progressive?
A Progressive Challenge is done quickly and in steps.........it's like scrapbooking meets Simon Says with a touch of choose your group's adventure.
On Sat. October 30, 2010 we will have a full, fun-filled progressive at 9 AM eastern / 6 AM sb.com time AND/OR 6 PM eastern / 3 PM sb.com. At the selected time of the day, I will give directions for you to follow approximately every 15 minutes until the challenge/layout is complete. I will not even know how the layout will turn out because you all will help make decisions as I narrate a story. It’s like a choose your own adventure scrapbooking challenge.
You will need common scrap supplies and 2 or 3 pictures with final # of pics to be decided at the time of the challenge.
You must follow the steps and you should not peek ahead if you are doing the layout after the fact or just starting late. You must do what the step says, but you can do more if you would like. For example if the step calls for adding embellishments and you’re told to add two you could add three.
You can play with me at the time I give the directions or you can play later following the order when you get a chance (just start at the 1st page and work your way through the thread).
Some sneak peeks:
*Step one: sketch/scraplift selection
**Step two: paper selection and placement
***Step three: number of pictures suggestion
****Step four: flower adding or handmade embellishment
*****Step five: embellishment adding
******Step six: adding the title
*******Step seven: the journaling, doodling, or stitching stage
*Your lo has to be new as of the day the challenge, hence a progressive challenge.
**Upload your lo to your scrapbook.com gallery within 24 hours of the last direction (The exception is to the mini progressive BINGO you have until Sun at midnight sb.com time to upload those layouts.)
***Single or double page LO's are fine. Any size is allowed too! Paper only as the directions are for that type.
****On Monday, when the challenge weekend has closed, PM me your favorite TWO layouts for EACH challenge.
*****Don’t vote for yourself as you will get a vote from me for sending in your vote.
******You can start the challenge at anytime within the 24 hours.
*******You MUST follow each direction step-by-step one at a time, NO sneak peeks.
