only from other scrappers that I exchange gifts or do yankee swaps with. My bf/family would be willing to, but they'd really have no idea where to start as far as actually picking out stuff, making sure I don't have it, that' it's my style, etc. my bff did get me a michael's gift card!
I got the Slice and some things to go with that! I also got some Ranger Perfect Pearls and the pink ATG. And some gift cards to get more!! (I gave lists to family and friends so they would have some scrappy ideas.)
Got some gift certificates to a LSS. Spent it yesterday and got myself a bunch of paper, stickles, embellies, eek and MORE flowers. I tried not to, but couldn't help myself. A punch I had been wanting. Lots of little things. I thought of getting a new cart they had, but decided not to.
My big score is my sewing machine that has 50 different stitch options that I'm really excited to use some more! I did one LO with it already.
I got the pink atg gun, so excited to try it. Got some embellishments and a scrapbooking journal. Got a scrapbooking backpack that holds scrapbooking supplies!! I really love that. Can put together stuff to make a few pages and take it when my family goes skiing and I am sitting in the lodge. Happy New Year!!
My Fiance bought me a Canon Rebel which I LOVE (he says i look like a tourist since I take it EVERYWHERE!!!) and my dad bought me some scrapbooking stuff....it was nice of him to do so, even though he doesnt understand it all.
I got all of the following... except the 1 3/8" punch (which is still on its way) and 3 more distress inks that have as yet to be named. I also received a 8.5 x 11 cs paper pad with some really neat colors in it from a secret santa at work. So, it was a better than average year for scrapping stuff.
An embarassment of riches, as they say...everything on my list, and DH even got me some extra Tim Holtz goodies, Mom got me GC for HERE! Whee! Gotta' love that DH was paying attention that I said "Tim Holtz said this, and Tim Holtz did that, and Tim Holtz is so cool," and on and on about Tim Holtz!
I got the Pink ATG and I love it already - don't know why I waited so long after hearing everyone rave about it. It really is simple to use.
I also got "graphically speaking" cart.
I have $100 in Christmas money to spend but I just don't know on what yet...paper is calling my name but I have so much already. Have to make the $100 stretch as far as possible because I'm putting myself on a restricted scrap budget.
I didn't get any scrap supplies on Christmas day, but my future MIL took me shopping at Hobby Lobby during that killer 50% off sale they were having. She got me some photo mats, a wedding 12x12 stack, and the most beautiful scrapping tote I have ever seen.
My regular tote got one of its little feet smashed and it was really starting to fall apart so I need one. With the 50% off the new tote, which is twice the size of my old one, was a little cheaper than what I paid for mine! All around, awesome Christmas haul. I will be rolling into my next crop in style. ^_-
Well I had a late Christmas, because of work and school, and didnt get down to my parents place until today, but the 400 mile drive was sooooo worth it
My brother got me a GYPSY!!! ofcourse i gave him a hint, because he said he couldnt think of anything to get me, so i helped him out a little bit, and guided him in the right direction
My mom got me some little stickers, and sayings, and a $50 gift card to J's plus other non scrapbooking things..
My biggest surprise was seeing how amazed that my Dad(52) and Bro(29) were with the cricut... they were like "So it does what... how does it cut it... ohhhh... well thats pretty neat... do another sample" lol
I can't wait to buy SCAL, and not spend so much $ on cart's!
P.S. A note on the Gypsy... I have updated and updated and updated, and turned on and turned off... and no free cart's Cricut is up to date, and i have registered both on cricut.com.... am i doing something wrong? I only have one more day! Any suggestions?
******I dunno what i did, but i have the free carts now Maybe it just needed some time lol.... WAHOO i can't wait to play with it

I didn't get anything, but I just started, so no one knew to. However, I got a gift card and bought myself some pp, stamps, and flowers. If I had asked for scrappy stuff, I would have had to make a detailed list otherwise I wouldn't have gotten anything. No one would have wanted to choose random stuff for me. But, gift cards allow you to get exactly what you want and so I am thankful.
I got lucky, DH got me 10 sets of spellbinders that were on my wishlist. I got a few more scrappy things but I was really shocked that he got me almost everything on my wishlist. I just have to get more magnet material but I love this for storing them all (I can get alot in there, beats the CD cases)
I got nikon L110 from dh , gc to j's from my mom (which I quickly ordered an ATG gun and refills for my paper trimmer) tommorrow I am going to the real store to finish spending it and the money I won on the lottery tickets my dad got me.. Can't wait
All I received this year that was scrap related was a gift certificate for sb.com from my sister.
I "went shopping" Christmas Eve and I received the package full of goodies yesterday....so it was like Christmas all over again!
Oh..I forgot to include that my son's girlfriend got me an old vintage scrapbook that she found in an antique shop. The cover has what looks like drawn on images of activities from the 60's. The pages are made of brown paper. I loveeee it =)
