I have not been here very much. It was the shoulder & back spasms. It made me a bit sad to be here while everyone was working on stuff. I am much much better! I was able to wash my own hair & dry it without any pain last week. (after months) Luckily my dh has always liked washing my hair. :)I was also able to push the cart & buy groceries with no pain last week. I am able to scrap lightly. lol It hurts to use certain tools. I do not want to make it worse. I have a cool new border punch . I have all of the [papers for that layout finally but it is a punch you need to stand. I need to do it around the page. I wish I could do that. My guillotine trimmer hurts too. I can use my reg trimmer though. It does not hurt when I am working on moving my layouts from strap hinge to regular pages in top load. That is what I am going to work on. If I am able to work on some cards. I will start those & see.
What are you guys doing?
I really missed scrapping with you guys! Heck, I really missed scrapping!

Well I'm glad you're feeling better, Linda! Being in pain is never fun, especially when it prevents you from doing fun things. I will be scrapping this weekend - I can't wait!! My weekends are crazy for the next month so I'm taking advantage now. I'm hoping to get a couple layouts done and some organizing done in my scrap room.

We have a tractor show tomorrow and then Sunday I think I will be able to knock out some of last years' LO's that are hanging over my head. I have 2 new border punches I want to play with and some yummy K&Company Botanical Gardens pp and embellies I got with MDay $ I want to try out.

Glad you are better, missed your weekly posts!

It is great you will be working on some stuff too Teresa! I just saw some adorable seed packet embellies by K & Co at the store. Is that what you are talking about? They were trying to get in my cart but I had to stop them due to only having enough cash left for my die that I went for. lol

We're having a HUGE yard sale tomorrow, so I've been busy going through all that stuff (going to be SO glad when it's GONE). A friend just invited me to a crop tomorrow night, if I can get some things together by then I will be scrapping this weekend - woohoo! I've picked up a few new items over the past few weeks that I haven't had a chance to play with yet.

Linda - glad you are beginning to feel better.

I will be working on pages for my book-of-me for the week-long NSD challenge - it won't be finished for a while, I need to get some photos from my mom's house - but I'll have at least the minimum pages done for the challenge. I LOVE thinking about it and planning for it - I've spent my downtime at work this week composing journaling for it. whee!

This weekend I will probably also need to get started on a baby album I want to make for a friend who's expecting a little boy in July. The pages will all be designed for her to add pictures to later, but I have never done baby pages before and I have only two weeks until her baby shower. I do have all the pages planned though.

Glad you are feeling a tiny bit better. Fiskars is coming out with more and more items that are easy to
use if you have moderate to middle arthritis. I am so thankful. I especially like the spring hinged scissors and the squeeze punches.

I'm finishing up a mini that I've really had fun with,,,,,spent a grand total of five bucks on it the rest of the items I used were either stash items, swapped items, or winnings from my sb.com package,,,,,,so much fun! It became a challenge as I went on to not spend anything,,,,well,,,I failed that a bit, wanted flowers and a key for it,,,,,but 5 bucks is still reasonable!

I'm working on a few projects.

I have my maternity album that's a work in progress. Done up to week 24 for the most part. I'm going on 28 weeks so I consider that pretty caught up!

I was volunteered to do a double 12x12 LO for our retiring district superintendent and realized last night that I need 2 more FULL sheets of 12x12 and the closest stores that have it are 45 min in opposite directions from me. So... We'll be doing that today at some point.

I have my floor quilt for the kiddo to finish the binding and then the ragging on.

um... A few misc. jewelry repairs for friends that need to be done but I can't find the parts that I KNOW I have in my stash.

So, I came on here for some diversion.

Hi Holly! I sure missed you too! I know you have such pain often. I am sorry that you have to deal with it. lol You sure have a great attitude about stuff though. :)I hope you are able to scrap.
((((HUGS)))))
I had L5 disc problem in my 20s. I have an orthopedic surgeon/dr from back then. I do back stretches every day. I am supposed to work out too. Most of these yrs I did faithfully. I have a pilates machine too. I also did water therapy too. lol In my 30s I have a problem in my lower disc. I started going to a chiropracter too. Same stretches & exercises. lol If I do those things, I never have pain from those. I had a broken wrist & elbow dislocation maybe 3 yrs ago. I had surgery. I did go to therapy for maybe 6 months.
This neck shoulder upper back are new to me. I caused them by scrapping too long. I kept working on stuff when I shouldn't. When it got worse, I stopped for a bit but went back too soon & made it worse. I kept telling myself that I could get it under control. lol I did start back exercising cause I had stopped for 3 mos. That is why I have gotten much better. My Dr would say you need to exercise. lol My dh has been giving me trigger massage. I used to get that at the chiros. lol
Sorry for the novel.

Hello! Glad you are here too! I haven't worked on my about me for yrs. You are right. It takes some time to think about what you to put in it. It also takes lots of time for you to write down memories etc. That is in addition to olanning the pages. lol I had fun doing mine. I can tell you are too. That is great! I think you will be fine getting the baby pages done since you already have them planned lol Good luck.

Linda- how do you get any work done when you're commenting here for us all? (not sayin' it's not appreciated that's FOR SURE! )

So, the 2 page LO is done. I'll take and post pictures after it's all signed by the staff.

I'm working on my 1st Mother's Day page. Waiting for the Glossy Accents to dry on my titles.

Found the jewelry piece I needed and got that fixed and out of the way yesterday.

Have 2 steampunk necklaces I need to make for a steampunk beading challenge I'm doing.

Umm... quilt- that's on the back burner as I'll have to clean up all my paper mess to get out the fabric mess.

I've never been to a crop! I like to have ALL my stuff at hand and there's NO WAY I can take all of that with me to a crop!

I managed to get 3 LOs completed at a crop last night. That's good for me, esp considering I didn't have time to get ready and just threw a bunch of supplies in my bags and grabbed a stack of pictures I hadn't even gone through yet. Plus I got to play with my Big Shot some more.
