Hi angels!!!
So I've notice that there's a pretty large amount of ladies on here that have an overstock/overflow of goodies in their stash and some ladies do not have enough or could use some different goodies in their stash.

This swap is for any and all supplies, handmade everythings and store bought anythings. If it still works (as far as tools), I will put it on the list to see if anyone needs it. If you have extras because of a good deal, or just made too many, perfect! A stamp that may seem outdated to you could be just what another needs.
If you are able to give and receive, perfect. But you don't have to give TO receive.
Something as simple as using your Cricut or Sizzix to make die cuts to donate is enough....some of us don't have that luxury so that would be a good donation. No donation is too small.

If you lovely ladies are interested in donating to HELP another fellow scrapper out, pm me for the address to send in your donations. Let me know if you want to be an anonymous giver or otherwise. I'm also going to ask that the angels that will be sending in donations to please do not list the items ahead of time in your post, it gets confusing when requests are coming in for things that I haven't received yet and is not on the list. I hope this doesn't discourage anyone, it's just easier that way.
I will start the list off with things that I am donating. As donations come in, I will update the list with the goodies on the first page.

If you are interested in receiving, post the items you want,I will send things requested on a first come first serve basis. Only four items per requester a month, to be sure no one person will get the majority of the donations.

Shipping for the requester will be as follows; I will weigh the items requested and let you know how much the shipping is. You will have the option to pay with a sase (self addressed stamped envelope)or through PayPal ( pebblesh (underscore)[email protected] ). When I receive your sase with the correct amount on it or your payment through Paypal , I will send your items out. If the requester does not send the sase or payment through Pay Pals within two weeks (depending on where it's coming from), the items will go back on the list.

I've also been reading through some other threads and I'm really just trying to do something nice so maybe someone can be a blessing to another as someone was to me once.

This is NOT a typical swap. This is purely to help fellow scrappers out. Please DO NOT donate if you expect to receive something of equal or greater value in return.

NO SPAMMERS PLEASE!

HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!

DONATION LIST
PLEASE NOTE, any all donations that are sent in will either be posted as an individual item or put with other donations and or page kits.
If you send in a donation and you do not see it on the list, please refer to the above note.

Here's the address if you want to donate some items:
Pebbles Reaves
649 Morris Place, N.E.
Washington, D.C. 20002

Thanks ladies!

This is such a great idea and a nice way to get rid of overstock in a guilt-free manner (even if I know I'll never use something, I just can't bring myself to throw anything away). I'll work on a donation list this weekend.

Thanks for opening this thread.

you should make it if you have items you want you have to send like or better items

say I wanted a pk of london stickers I send in same quality 12 pkcs of stickers other things and I also wanted the ny stickers its ok to trade the larger number toward the smaller number wanted.

see what I mean? If you want something on the more list you have to give MORE to the give list Otherwise this just winds up there will be 500 things on the give list and grow and grow exponentially its going to do that anyways because most people might want 1 or 2 things but have a lot to mail and that saves on shipping and makes it easier

Hi, I just found this forum after reading your initial thread. I have to catch up on all the posts here. I have a bunch of die cuts that I've cut out over the past three years since I had my Silhouette, plus extra shapes cut out from various hole punches. I hate to throw anything away. I'll have to go through what I have and come up with a list. I know I have stuff from last year Halloween and Christmas, maybe Thanksgiving.

Oh, I do want it!! (the glitter that is) I'm still putting stuff together here and there. I'm not working so I don't want to make the box too heavy. And this month, dummy me signed up for three swaps, plus the Member of the month swap, so I have to see what S&H is going to cost. Luckily, I had stocked up on a bunch of things when I got my last unemployment check. I know, I have my priorities! I have an IRA account I'm dipping into to pay the mortgage and car payment.

I have to go thru my stickers, but will probably be able to add some holiday ones. I don't know if anyone would like some seam binding. I gave some to someone who sent me some charms. I found a lots of it at a rummage sale and then found more at a garage sale. I have to see if I am willing to spare any of my hole punches. I use them all the time. But I do have an extra foot print one. I might have one or two duplicates of shaped scissors.

I went through most of my paper and so far this is what I have to offer:

DCWV winter/Christmas - 2 sets of 14sheets each
DCWV Autumn - 2 sets of 16 sheets each
Me and my Big Ideas
"Alison" - 2 sets of 11 sheets each
Fruit/berries - 4 sheets
2 Oriental and 1 fall - 3 sheets

The Alison collection would be great to use with girls ages 10-17.

I also have a bunch of misc die cuts I made, which include flowers, tags, Halloween, and Christmas, not sure if there is any Thanksgiving. Maybe someone can go through it pick what they want, maybe add to it and give it to the next person.

Then I have the following hole punches:
mini teddy bear
mini tulip
mini cross
small heart
foot print (I have another one)
One that punches pin holes in the shape of a flower to be sewn.

Since I have a lot of paper it's very heavy and I can't afford to mail it, so I'm not sure how you want to handle this.

You can post whatever lies you want!!!
That machine works just fine and I wasted MY money like you said to send it to myself and to send back to you because I will not keep ANYTHING that I believed to be given to me from the kindness of someones heart after I offered to pay them for it and then they throw it back in my face and say "I wish I would've given it to someone else". So YES, I sent it back in the same condition you sent it to me so you can send it to someone else.
I have 2 jobs sweetie and don't NEED anyone to give me anything!!! Hint-the reason I started this swap! duh!!!
So say what you want, do what you want and have a blessed day!!!
BTW, MY NAME IS PEBBLES AS YOU ALREADY KNOW, NOT BEAN!!!!

That stuff is wonderful, Terri. What are the Victorian boot charms like? I just learned to make them this summer and participated in my first swap last month.

I would love to have the stickles and silver liquid pearls with Christmas crafts coming here soon.

OOPs, just read the first page about requesting only one item per month. If you haven't mailed the glitter, I'd rather have the stickles or silver liquid pearls.

I have a question about shipping items to you, then someone else sending in money to have it shipped to them. Why not just have the person send money for postage to the one who's offering it? You might get stuck with a lot of stuff you don't want. For instance, the paper I pulled out that I had 3 or 4 of each sheet, why not ship it directly to the person who wants it?

There isn't too many requests coming through so far, so I think you'll be fine once the other items come in that you want to request.

As far as shipping. I will help out those that are donating that needs help. The reason I didn't set this up in a way that the donor sends items to the requester because it can become too much for some people and sending items to one central spot to be listed keeps confusion down. But if a donor decides to send anything straight to a requester, by all means, have at it. But if a donor decides to do it that way, please don't list it here. I think there maybe another actual swap where they operate like that.

I created this swap to help people that NEED help more so than anything and for those who have things that they can part with and want to help others out as well.
Happy Scrapping!!

The boot charms are silver and about 3/4 of an inch. The have a ring at the top of them for fiber or ribbon or to put a ring on to hag from a chain or pin.

Just wondered. I'm on a shopping freeze until I make up my mind I want to go for disability or try working. I have an old back injury from a car crash 7 years ago and instead of getting better, I seem to have one more symptom of pain every couple of months. I lost my job, mostly because it was made up charges, but I would get short with people at times when I'd be in a lot of pain and not realize it. I was always a nice person and my last job I was at for 12 years had a lot of mean back-stabbing people working there. Too much negativity in one's life is bound to change a person, add pain to the factor = short fuse. (Oh and add a two year relationship from heII into that mix).

I just got involved in SB.com this past March and it's helped me immensely (mentally) and I'm having lots of fun, meeting lots of nice people and learning all sorts of new crafts and about new products! I wish I had scrappy friends around me that I could share my stuff with them. But I don't so when I found this forum, I thought it was great to pass on stuff I won't ever use, but didn't think about postage. Last month, I gave someone a bunch of paper from one of the swaps I'm in, and it cost $10 to ship to her!

Before I go to the UPS store, I want to go through my box of stickers upstairs. I'll probably be adding some of those too. I know I have some cute Christmas borders. Plus, getting rid of some of my stuff should help me get organized better too!

Update on my status: since my first post on this thread, we had a Sunday school meeting at my church (where I'm the Sunday school coordinator) and the rector introduced a new teaching program that involves lots of crafts. Most of the stuff I was pulling for this swap I am now donating to my church. I'm so sorry but at least my extra stuff is still being put to good use.

That is so wonderful!!! I've been trying to get something together like that at my church. What a wonderful thing to have. You can also check back to see if there's anything on the list in the future that you might need for your church as well.

I didn't make it to the UPS Store yet, but I finally sealed the box closed. It was starting to get a little heavy. But no where near 20lbs. I found some more die cuts I added to the box.

Hi Guys

I would love anything anyone is willing to part with. I am new to scrapping and with my clan of kids it is hard to buy the stuff that I really want to make things like you all do.

If anyone wants to be my angel I would be greatly appreciative

Thank you in advance

Kim

Hi Kim! Look on the first page of this thread and see if there's anything you want/need on the donation list. Post which item you would like and I will pm you the shipping cost. Additional items will be posted to the list as donations come in.

They can't verify accounts at the UPS store, so luckily, I don't live too far from the hub and sent out this afternoon.

The package I sent to you weighed 4lbs something. At the store, the guy weighed it told me how much it would cost if I didn't feel like going to the hub. They didn't ask any questions at the hub, except for what was in the box. I told her scrapbook supplies. And she could see the original return address came from a scrapbook company! I'm not familiar with UPS, how long they take in delivery, but it's on it's way!

Thanks so much! I will put you down for the Thanksgiving page kit and there's no need to list what you're going to donate. When it's received, I will post the items in the donation list on the front page.
Pm me your address and will send the kit out on Monday.
Also, you can request another item from the list if you want. I did have the limit set at 1 item per month, but changed it to 2 since there aren't too many request coming thru just yet.

Thanks again!
