Deadline December 31, 2011
All you do is find an old vintage picture from the 1960s or before of a friend or family member and either do a layout or alter something using the picture. It has to be something you made within the month of challenge.
***Please make sure to Allow Public Embedded***
Twist ****Use vintage style only***
We will then vote on Jan 2nd for a winner I will be giving out a little prize to the winner ..... Good Luck and look forward to seeing all the creations....
Martica, not sure if I can sign up this month. The doctor has me going in for an infusion on the 15th. I don't have cancer but it is a chemo drug they are using. She says I may have flu like symptoms for a couple of weeks. Then again I may not. I'll sign up as long as you know I might get too sick to finish. I have to get all the Christmas stuff done before I get the infusion. After that it depends on how I feel.
Hi ladies I was actually debating on not doing challenge in Dec because I figured you all would be busy, but then decided to go ahead and do it anyway. There is always Jan for those that can't join in Dec.....
Hello Louise how are you doing this evening and I will add you to list.....thanks for joining....
Hi Martica - I'm good. I'm glad you decided to have another one. It's fun getting these pages done. I have some really cool old pictures that I don't know who the people are in them and tomorrow my mom is having her 4 sisters over so .... I'm going to pop over and try to get the scoop!
So I have been dabbling in the digital world and I must say that it is fun. It is definitely quicker and less messy. I have missed the hands on satisfaction of cutting and glueing though. Here is my layout for the challenge. This is my Aunt and Uncle from around 1950.
JCI! Martica, my infusion went fine. No allergic reaction to the chemo. I am tired but that is all. They gave me medicines before they started it, to counteract upset stomach and allergic reactions. They seem to have worked.
Barbara glad it went well and now you will be ready for Christmas. My procedure went well to ended it up staying in hospital 2 nights because of pain but all is fine now....Hi Yvonne sweety hope you all have a great weekend
Good Morning! We started our cookie making yesterday. I made some Lemon Ricotta cookies, college son made his special chocolate triple chocolate chip cookies, and high school son made some gorgeous oreo truffles..he added a white chocolate chip to the top of each and some Christmas sprinkles.
Thought I would stop by and share this. If it's too late to sign up it will just be a share. If I can enter it I will go back and cu on love too. I haven't done much with vintage but did this as a tribute to an aunt that passed away this last year. Aunt Jean By Lpeeps
We had our Christmas on the 18th so I got
