PRIZES: Gift certificates to sb.com!

**Prize Categories**

(prize amounts will be based upon the number of players)

1. Most Points Overall: no matter what your goal was if you meet your goal and if you have the most points at the end of the month, then you are the winner in this category.

2. Most Points 10 or Fewer Layouts: If you set your goal at 10 or fewer layouts and you meet your goal BUT do not exceed 10 layouts for the month then you are eligible for this category. If you complete more than 10 LOs then that moves you to other prize categories.

3. Random Drawing of All who Complete the Monthly Challenge: Complete the monthly challenge as well as meeting your monthly LO goal and you will be entered into a random drawing for this prize!

4. Most Daily Challenges Completed: A new daily challenge will be posted everyday. If you complete the highest number of daily challenges and keep track of how many you complete in a blog on sb.com during the month, then you will be eligible for a prize in this category. If there is a tie, then there will be a drawing using random.org. Daily challenges are usually meant to be completed on a layout, a card, or an altered project. There will be few day specific challenges but generally you will be able to complete the daily challenges at your own pace and you may combine several of them on the same project. (PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible for this category, please start a blog at sb.com to list your challenges completed.)

5. Random Drawing of Everyone Who Meets Their Monthly Layout Goal: Meet your monthly layout goal and there will be a drawing done on random.org of everyone who met their goal but did not win in another category.

***** You will only be eligible for prizes having met your monthly layout goal. Each paying player may only win in ONE category.*****

Layouts are counted towards your goal in the following manner:
*8x8 or above including 6x12, 8.5x11, 12x12=1 layout (2 pagers count as 2 layouts)
*2 6x6 = 1 layout
*3 4x6 or 5x5=1 layout
*4 mini layouts (3x3, 4x4 etc.)= 1 layout
**Cards do not count toward your layout goal, but you can count points for them.**
*Altered items and other projects can be counted as "layouts" based on the amount of work you put into them. If you aren't sure how many layouts a project is “worth”, just ask!

**A note for people who'd like to play for prizes, but not keep track of points; as long as you link/post your layouts to the thread, you can still be eligible for categories 3, 4, and 5 of prizes!**

WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE POST YOUR LAYOUT GOAL FOR THE MONTH! YOU MAY CHANGE YOUR GOAL ANYTIME BEFORE SIGN-UPS CLOSE on the 10th of the month!

Important Rules:

1/1: Today is my 12 month anniversary! It is 2012! So share with us your top 12 favorite memories of 2011, and then share 12 hopes/dreams/goals you have for 2012! You may post your lists directly to this thread OR you may post them to a blog and then share the link on this thread! Take +200 pts for sharing both lists with us!
BONUS: If you also post at least 3 pictures (in your blog or on the thread) representing your 2011 memories OR your 2012 goals, take an additional +100 pts as a bonus!

1/2: Set up your 2 blogs (daily tracking blog & monthly goals blog) and your signature line to track your points for +125 pts.

1/3: Use the number 12 on your project somewhere! It has to be a 12, not a 1 or a 2, but a 12! 100 points.

1/4: I never use my stamps as much as I should. Use a stamp on your page today for 150pts, or a card for 75 points.

1/5: Use a black and white or sepia toned photo on your page today for 300 points!

1/6: With all you sickies out there and tired people working long shifts, I thought you deserved an easy day. And if your not sick or tired, well, TGIF! Take an hour to yourself and just breath, and relax...or sleep if your sick! 125 pts!

1/7: I never seem to scrap pictures of me very often. So today, scrap a picture of yourself for 150 points.

1/8: Use a list on your project today for 150 pts. It can be a list of anything,New Years Resolutions, a grocery list, reason why you love something or someone....anything!

1/9:Add a Zentangle to a card or layout for 150.

Here are some instructions and examples:

http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Zentangle

~*~Weekly Challenge and Photo Challenge~*~
These challenges MUST be posted WITH POINTS DETAILS by 11:59 PM PST Sunday to take points for the weekly challenges.

RULE: If you take a pic of your computer screen because you do not have the item asked for in the weekly photo challenge you will only get half points for the picture of your computer screen. So if the challenge was originally worth 100 pts, you would get 50 pts; worth 50 pts, you would get 25 pts; etc.

Week of 1/23-1/29:

+50 per photo for a max of 200 points

Weekly Challenge:

Create a layout using any tools, inks, stamps, punches, etc. but NO READY MADE EMBELLISHMENTS. So if you want to use flowers on your layout, then you have to make them. Want buttons--make them. +300

1. Something fluffy
2. Something warm
3. Something friendly
4. Something lovely
5. Something smooth

Weekly Challenge:

I stumbled across some really interesting designer packaging made in Asia that I thought was incredibly inspiring! And I can totally imagine using one of the following images as inspiration for a layout, whether it's using the same font or the same colours, using the same layout design or simply using one of the slogans or words as your page title.

So this week choose one of the following images to be your inspiration. When you post your layout, please also post the original packaging pic too! Take 300 Points when you post the pic and your LO!

1. Packaging Inspiration #1 - January AGC By Laurink

2. Packaging Inspiration #2 - January AGC By Laurink

4. Something that's trendy in 2012
5. Something that people who know you today in 2012 would associate with you (example - my DD2 almost always always wears a hat. I always have a cat. So a picture of me holding a cat or wearing cat jewelry would fulfill this. If DD2 was doing this challenge, a picture of her with her hat would qualify)

For the weekly challenge, make at least 10 inchies or twinchies by doing something more than just using an already made inchie stamp. Embellish them, do masking or misting, antique them, use your imagination. Show them on this loop for 200 points.

Use at least three each on two LOs or cards for a second 100 points. (400 points)

MONTHLY CHALLENGE

Here is an introduction from Ali Edward’s about the One Little Word:

CHOOSING YOUR WORD

Can you identify a single word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2012? It can be something tangible or intangible. It could be a thought, or a feeling, or an emotion. It can be singular or plural. The key is to find something that has personal meaning for you. This is not your mother's word or your spouse's word or your child's word - this is YOUR word.
One little word can have big meaning in your life if you allow yourself to be open to the possibilities. And here's one thing that is totally interesting: sometimes a word will pop into your brain and it will not make any sense to you right now. Give it some time. Let it percolate a bit. I have often found that our hearts speak to us in very unique ways. Maybe this is a word you need to hear but just aren't ready for it yet.
Again, be open to the possibilities.

THE PROJECT

Last year I decided I wanted to do something even more tangible with my One Little Word. I've found that, just like a resolution, it's easy to lose sight of the things you set forward to embark on as regular life gets busy throughout the course of the year. To combat this I plan to bring my word into my life more consciously and concretely and make it more visible by creating an album to hold my thoughts, challenges and inspirations.

(The previous excerpt was taken from this website: http://www.bigpictureclasses.com/onelittleword.php)

The AGC ONE LITTLE WORD (OLW) Monthly Challenge:

1. THINK- Think about what you you want your one little word (OLW) to be for 2012.

2. CHOOSE- Choose a word as your OLW for 2012. If you are stuck, see these blogs for a list of other people’s OLW for 2012: http://aliedwards.com/2012/01/one-little-wo rd-2012-the-... And from 2011: http://aliedwards.com/2011/01/one-little-wo rd-2011-the-...

3. WRITE- Write your one little word down. Write a few sentences about why you choose that OLW or what that word means to you.

4. PHOTOGRAPH- Take 5 pictures that represent your OLW for 2012. Share the pictures with us on the thread, as you take them, or all at once. (Pictures must be taken on or after January 9, 2012. You must share the pictures, before you complete the CREATE portion of the AGC OLW challenge.)

5. JOURNAL- Journal about your one little word and share a part of your life-story with us. Journaling must be at least 300 words.

6. CREATE- Create a project based on your OLW, using at least 3 of your 5 photos and some of your journaling in a visible way (the majority of your journaling may be hidden, but at least one sentence has to be visible). This project should be at least a two 12x12 page layout or equivalent to the amount of work you would put into 2 12x12 page LOs. For example, you may choose to do several small projects: make a card, alter the cover of a notebook, and create a one page LO. Or a larger project: an 8x8 mixed media painting, for example. Another option would be to make a mini album showcasing your photos and journaling about your word. Examples of something that would not earn points for the CREATE part of the AGC OLW challenge would be one greeting card+nothing else or one layout+nothing else.

POINTS:

For Completing 1, 2, & 3 and sharing your OLW with the thread: +150 pts

For Completing 4 and sharing your 5 pics with the thread: +250 pts

For Completing 5 and sharing your journaling or that you completed your journaling with the thread (some journaling may be too personal for people to share right now): +150 pts

For Completing 6 and sharing your project(s) with the thread: +600 pts

***To be considered for prize category #3 you must complete a project for the CREATE portion of the AGC OLW Monthly Challenge.***

MAX TOTAL POINTS=1150 pts

Challenge Volunteers! These are the new rules for people who want to volunteer to do a week of challenges.
1.The weekly challenge cannot be worth more than 400 pts.
2.The daily challenges can only be worth 150 pts with one exception per week up to 300 pts. So 6 days of 150 points or less and one challenge up to 300 points.
3.The daily challenges should generally be something that can be incorporated into ANY LO. Not a challenge that you must make a LO for that you wouldn't have made otherwise. But it CAN require you to make a whole LO for one challenge per week.
4.Picture challenges can only be worth up to 250 pts total added up for all pictures. There should not be more than 6 pictures for the weekly photo challenge.
5. You SHOULD post the challenge by 10 AM EST (which is 7AM PST) OR post the challenge the night before, preferably after 9PM your time.

****Weeks will run from Monday to Sunday!****

Can you give me some more info on Project Life? I have heard of it, but do not know what it is. If it is a layout, then yes, it would count towards your LO goal.

It's Not So Much A 12x12 LO, It's More Like A 12x12 Page Protector With Decorated Cards/Inserts. The Project Life Core Kit Comes With Cards To Insert Into A Variety Of Different Size Page Protectors & You Decorate Each Individual Card/Insert With Photos, Journaling & Embellishments. (Or Make Your Own) It's Meant To Keep Track Of Your Day To Day Life. Here Are Some Examples..

Holy cow I love this idea! I was just debating doing the 365 project but I now I am going to do this instead I think. Does sb.com sell page protectors that way do you know? I've never seen any like that!

Andrea - Thanks for the link! I am going to order some of her things tomorrow (pay day!). I'm so excited! I can totally relate with you as well. I've always debated projects like these because I don't have kids. But your right! I would love to see how my mother's life was before us kids came along. (and just like you I have some high hopes for the next couple years). Do you have one of the core kits that are sold? If so which one?

Ashley.. Wow! A Scrapbooker Like Me Without Kids!! Nice To Meet You *lol (Although I'm Sure We've Talked Before In Past AGC's) I Wish You & Yours The Best Of Luck In The Near Future.. It's Not Easy Wanting To Be A Mother SO Bad & Hearing About All These Teen Pregnancies & Such On The TV.. Or Watching Super Nanny Try To Teach A Couple With 10 Kids & 1 On The Way How To Raise Their Children.. I Could Go On & On But I'll Stop There

Anyways.. I Got The Clementine Core Kit For Christmas & I Use The Blue 12x12 American Crafts Album Sold On Sb.Com Because It's More Of My Style. I Like To Mix & Match Products. I'm A 8.5x11 Scrapbooker So This Will Be A Big Transition For Me. I Plan To Mix A Bunch Of Different Page Protectors Such As 6x6 & Baseball Card Size To Hold Memorabilia & Insta Gram Photos.. I'd Also Recommend Any Of The Smash Products Sold Here On Sb.com -Hope This Helps!! I'm Excited That You'll Be Doing Project Life With Me.. It'll Help Me Stay Motivated.. Although I'm Ashamed To Say This But I'm A Bit Of A Quitter So I Can Use As Much Motivation As I Can Get (No Pressure!) *lol

Rhonda: We'd Love More Players, You Just Simply Create Layouts, Cards, & Other Projects When The Points List Is Posted Jan. 1st. You Get To Take Points For Certain Items On That Project.. For Example 5 Points Per Cardstock Or Patterned Paper Used & At The End Of The Month Whom Ever Has The Most Points Wins.. It's Further Explained On The Front Page.. If You Have Questions Feel Free To Ask As You Play Along, Everyone Is Very Helpful -Not To Mention My Favorite Part: The Daily, Weekly & Monthly Challenges To Help Motivate You & Earn Extra Points.. It's A Lot Of Fun!!

Ashley: I Ordered Those MM Page Protectors Yesterday From Amazon. Com For Only $3!! They Should Arrive Monday Or Tuesday. I'm Not 100% Sure If They Fit The BH Core Kits I've Heard That They Are A Bit Bigger But It Was Such A Great Deal I Ordered Them Anyway.. You Can Always Add A Border To The Cards To Make Them Bigger Or Cut Them Down To Make Them Smaller. I Ordered The Design F & Design C Because That's All That Was Available That I Liked.. I'll Be Started My First Week With Those Until The Design A & Design G Come Back In Stock (Those Are My Favorite) I Also Ordered The Clementine PP & Date Stamp Which Should Be At My Front Door When I Get Home!! *Exciting!! I Like The Turq. Kit Too! The Clementine Kit Is More Muted Girly Colors Like I Like.. You Could Even Mix Kits If You Had The Extra $$ (Which I Don't) I Just Used Up All My Husbands Amazon Giftcards From Christmas *Whoops!

Andrea: I really like the Celmentine kit too, but I can only get one for now. Maybe later! I decided to wing it and get those page protectors. Such a good deal! Design A is my favorite, but I think it is everyone else's too! Thanks for all the info! I can't wait to get started!

No Problem Ashley, It's Nice To Have Someone To Talk To About This.. My Family Thinks I'm Nuts When I Take A Photo Of My Dinner Before I Eat It Or Just Today I Took A Photo Of My Amazon Delivery Sitting On My Front Porch *Rofl. So I Know The 'Photo A Day' Aspect I Can Do.. It's The 12x12 That's Making Me Feel Overwhelmed.. I Put Together A Little 'Inventory' Of My Cards From My Core Kit.. To Try To Get Me To Use Them All & See What I Have More Of But As I Was Putting Them In The Page Protectors.. I Was Like Holy Cow!! How Am I Going To Fill All This Up In One Week!! I Have A Bit Of A Boring Life (*lol) So We'll See What I Come Up With I Might Start With 8.5 x 11 Page Protectors So I Don't Freak Out & Quit But Then Again I Just Spent $15 On 12x12. I'm Even Considering 'Cutting Off' A Section Of The Page Protectors (*Gasp!) As You Can Tell.. I Have Some Experimenting To Do :)?

Hello ladies! I was thinking about joining in this month, but as soon as I saw the project life convo I knew I HAD to join! I'll be back soon with a VERY detailed long post about my love (ok... serious obsession) of project life

I see some new faces since I was last here (wow... a year?!?) Hello everyone!

Megan, will you put me down for motivational for now? I'll let you know what my LO goal is, and if I plan to play for real in a bit

Ok.. here is a SUPER long post all about project life. I have a serious addiction (and possible hording addiction) to all becky higgins/project life products!!

So, a little background When I found out I was pregnant back in dec 2009 I decided I wanted to do p365 of my pregnancy. I debated about getting project life, but I decided not to since it was at least $50 bucks to start, and I have tons of scrapbook stuff to use up, so I figured I would just do regular layouts. Well, I had no idea that I would be so exhausted from having twins, and finding out about one of my kiddo's problems." Yep, weekly dr appointments and needing 16 hours of sleep every day makes it a little hard to stay on top of scrapbooking! I regret not buying project life 100%. I really wish I had an album of what my pregnancy was like, what I felt like when I found out about having twins, and about Evan's medical issues. It just makes me sad to think about what I could have!

So, my kiddos were born Aug 5 and I debated about project life again, but decided to not get it since I have tons of scrapbook stuff. Again, I had no idea that I would be so exhausted and have no time! When they were 6 weeks old I had only scrapped 2 layouts and I was REALLY far behind. So I jumped into project life and I have not regretted it at all! My baby book is caught up (well, almost. I'm on week Nov 18- Nov 24 right now). It's an amazing feeling to be caught up. I never have to worry about forgetting what my kiddos are up to, because it's all in my project life! It has SERIOUSLY changed my life. I've already converted 3 people to using project life, and I talk about it to everyone! It's so easy!

Ok, enough of that.

Andrea- Good for you for doing this project pre kiddos! You will have enough to fill up the album, I promise! Don't think of it as a BOM album, it's more of a "my life" album. I hoard newspaper articles, packaging, magazine ads etc to put in my Project Life album. If you still work at subway, grab a napkin to stick in there. Take pictures of everything around you. I really wish I would of done this project before I had babies also. I would love to see what my hubby and I did without having kids. We used to run to walmart at 3 in the morning. I have no idea why we did that, or what we needed, and I would love to know why. Document your house, your laundry, your car, everything that you think will change when you have kids (everything will change! hehe!). Do you still write letters to David? Put those in your album. You'll be amazed at how fast you fill it up. And about the pages being overwhelming... it's not a 12x12 layout, my dear. It's a page protector with little slots. Think of it as "Ok, today I need to print out a 4x6 photo and do journaling" then day 1 is done. It's not as overwhelming as you may think it is! Maybe think of it as four 4x6 layouts? You should check out the people on Becky's design team. Most of them use different page protectors in there albums (which is where I get all of my ideas from). Check out aliedwards.com too, she has a really great album going. About the cards not fitting into the page protectors... I bought the digital elements as well, so I will resize them on my computer and print them out. Or if i'm feeling lazy, I'll just print out a square of project life patterned paper on my printer and trim it to fit in the slots then glue my card to the patterned paper! some of the people on becky's design team trims down page protectors, and Ali will trim protectors down and sew them shut. She has a tutorial on her website.

Whew, what a long post. I promise I wont post anything this long again (well, until someone brings up project life again!)

Hey girls! I think I'm going to join in this month, just motivational. I haven't been on here or scrapped in AGES but I've been having the desire to for the last couple weeks. I had my little girl in August and she's a super happy baby and I'm finally in a really comfortable schedule. She takes all her naps on my lap so I don't have the traditional "nap time" to get stuff done, but she loves sitting in her walker or bouncer by me while I do stuff. I'm not going to set a page amount, because I'll be pretty happy with 1!

Awh, thanks Andrea! I wont be able to meet up this weekend It's a 4 hour drive and the hubby has to work! I'll be in MO in late May. I don't see project life as being over whelming, I actually see it as being very liberating. I spent the first 6 weeks of my boys lives being very upset that I was behind in documenting their lives. Every since I started project life, I've felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I think it's easier and faster then doing a regular layout, or doing a digi layout. I hated scrapbooking because I felt like I "had to" scrapbook a certain photo when I wasn't inspired to do it. Now i feel like my project life is my "need to" scrapbooking but it's still fun for me. When I do get inspired or feel creative, then I'll break out my regular paper stuff, or I'll digi scrap and it's more fun for me. It's no longer a chore. Thank you for the super woman comment. I tell hubby that I'm super woman all the time. I really love http://michellewooderson.blogspot.com/ I love her photo collages and stuff! She uses a really great app that I had to buy (and you would love!) it's called diptic. It'll make photo collages out of your iphone photos. I use it all the time! Do you still have an android? you should check to see if it's in your app store! I use baseball card holders too! I love putting memorabilia in them! I saved wrapping paper from Christmas and I plan to trim them down and fit them into the slots. I'm so excited! I'm sorry your camera died If you are looking for a new camera, you should check out the canon elph 300 hs. I got it for christmas on a really awesome sale. I can't carry my DSLR with me everywhere, so this point and shoot is a great fit for my purse! I love it!

Hi Crystal and Jenn! Welcome back!

Well I got my Project Life kit ordered along with one set of page protectors from the Becky Higgins line and then the variety pack from We R Memory Keepers. I can't wait to get them next week! I was really bummed that so many of the plastics were sold out though. Oh well!

Andrea, where in MO will you be?! I'd love to meet up! Don't know if I could squeeze it in with work starting up again in a few days but it would be fun!

Love all the familiar and new faces for the new year! I bought a project life with the intent of doing it but gave up after a month! I have the whole kit so I should give it a go but I also tried the December Daily and failed (still have intentions of finishing it but we'll see!)

Aaron is great. Starts physical therapy on Monday the 9th. There is so much scar tissue in his tumor knee that he can't bend it or straighten it all the way. Next scan is in February.

How is Xander? Did he love Disney? I bet the Wish folks made it even more magical for you all!

I hope physical therapy will help Aaron. Hoping that his scans will be AWESOME!

Xander is doing GREAT!! Finished treatment on November 18. Disney was AWESOME!! It really was amazing!! As of December 16, Xander is in remission. He goes in on January 10 for monthly port flush and labs. He will have scans again in February too.

I'm Ashamed To Say It's Been 3-4 Years On Sb.com & I Haven't Been Able To Actually Meet Anyone In Real Life Yet But I Consider A Lot Of You Close Friends Because I've Seen Your Lives Grow & Shared In Your Experiences Thru Scrapbook Layouts & Facebook. Someday I Want To Take A Vacation Just To Travel Around & Meet Sb.com Friends! But That's Highly Unlikely. *lol* I'll Be Visiting My Hometown In Chillicothe, MO (North) The 4-6 Then Head Up To Iowa On The 7th Then Back To Ohio From There. I Do This Every Year Around The Same Time.. Maybe We Could Get A Plan Together Again To Try To Meet Up In Kansas City Again Sometime. -Although I Can Talk The Route Over With David To See When We Are The Furthest South.. So It Might Be Possible To Meet Up On Wed. Evening. I'll Let You Know Sweetie! P.S. It'd Be Awesome To Have Several Of Us Working On Project Life In The New Year To Keep Each Other Motivated. I'm The Same Way Julie.. I Tried The Digital 365 Day Last Year & Quit After 4 Weeks! Im Still Wanting To Do A Dec. Daily (I Have All The Photos For It) I Just Can't See Myself Finishing It.. & I Haven't Even Started *lol

I Have To Go Get Ready For My Last Day Of Work Before Vacation.. If I Don't Pop Back In Then I Wish Everyone A Happy New Year!!! *Hugs

I love it!

I Don't Know How I Missed This (Sorry)
I Know We Will Meet Up Someday.. As Much As I Hate To Admit It, I Usually End Up In MO At Least 2x A Year.. We've Been Meaning To Take A Trip Back To Joplin, To See How It's Recovered After The Tornado (I Know Your Closer To Joplin Then KC, I Think) I Wish I Had Your Way Of Seeing Things.. I Havn't Created Anything In A Long Time & It Has Been Feeling Like A Chore & It Really Shouldn't.. I'm Excited About Project Life & I Have A Feeling It'll Bring Back My Scrapbooking Mojo & I Might Even Create A Few LO's For Fun To Include Along With It! I've Heard Of That App (I've Upgraded To The iPhone Now) But I Usually Make Collages On My Computer Thru Picassa.. I Guess I Kinda Pride Myself On Never Buying An App *lol* But I'm Sure That'll Change Quickly. Thanks For The Camera Heads Up I'll Look Into It.. After All My Birthday Is Next Month (Feb.) + Tax $$ Time Is Fast Approaching *WOOT!

Okay.. Now I REALLY Got To Get To Work *lol
-Can You Tell I've Missed Having Girls To Talk To.. Guys Just Don't Get It *lol

Happy New Year.. Again *Hugs

Oh well!

Exciting!! Maybe Until You Recieve Them You Can Start Working On A 'Title Page LO' I've Seen A Lot Of Great One's Floating Around The Web! I Spent $25 Just To Get Them Shipped In 1 Day.. There Is No Way I Could Go A Week.. I'd Be Stalking The UPS Guy For Sure! *lol* Gosh I Miss That! *ROFL

Happy New Years!

I'm a scrapbooker without kids with a super supportive husband. He keeps telling me to "don't forget the camera so you can scrapbook that".

I'm going to try to do the 365 this year. 1 week per page with one photo per day taken.

I'm doing motivational this month because I have a few things going on but I will be back to grind in February.

To all of the new people that are thinking about it. Try it motivational this month (play without paying and keep up with your points). If you like it before the 10th pay and change to a full blown player. If you don't like it your not out anything.

I'm off to a trail ride (with the camera) so I'll read up on posts and catch up later.

Xander will have labs every month for at least a year if not longer and then scans every 3 months for at least 3 years. ugh. sigh. "Scanxiety" is what me and my other 'cancer moms' call it..

I'm a cancer mom, too. My 27 yr old had a leiomyosarcoma at age 12. he's the only one to ever have one (it's common in 70 yr olds). They told us up front that they didn't have a clue what to do for him and were making it up as we went along. They were sure he wouldn't make it, but God had other plans. Scanxiety is an excellent word and I still get it!!

Never heard of that cancer, Paula!! I LOVE to hear his success story though. Xander was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in April of this year. 7 months of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation he's in remission!! HOPING, PRAYING, BELIEVING that he stays that way.

happy 2012!! I had a pretty good time last night ringing in the new year with my friends. I was kind of hoping for a new years eve kiss, but it didn't happen and I'm okay with that! Me and my friends had fun, goofing off, have drinks and sharing laughs!

Thank goodness I am having it somewhere and not at my house, but still tons to do! But I will def be here motivational! I will say 4 LO's! I got some cute Halloween paper so I am scrapping 2010 Halloween!

1. Westin turning 2
2. Westin's cardio visit went better than expected
3. divorcing my husband of 5 years
4. getting a job at Sonic which I love
5. 80's prom with my boo
6. making out with Gabe
7. seeing Yo Gabba Gabba Live

Wow Andrea! Sounds like a fun way to bring in the New Year! This year Kayla and I got in an argument & I was crying at the beginning of the evening. (Kayla apologized and I admitted I had overreacted a bit--I blame it on PMS, lol! I think it was the hormones more than me talking!) Then we had a great night playing board games on the iPad. I got my midnight kiss as we listened to Kenny G's version of Auld Lang Syne and cuddled It was a great ending to an AMAZING year, and a perfect beginning to one that is promising to be even better!

I LOVE your highlights of 2012 Eileen & Jade! It is going to be challenging for me to just pick 12! I was thinking of 1 per month maybe? and then doing a LO/LOs about 2011 using those monthly highlights!

I am so glad your son beat those odds! Here's to overcoming Scanxiety...

mms -- my list seems so trivial in comparison.

So happy Xander is doing well -- I am right up the road from you in Goldsboro. If you're having more fundraisers let me know -- I'd be glad to pass the word. Lots of friends in Johnston Co.

Working on the finishing touches to the points list! I wanted to make this a FUN one for the beginning of 2012! I hope you ladies will like it. Give me a little more time--going to hop in the shower and then finish the points list so I can let my hair air dry for a little while Then I'm going to straighten it....that takes quite a while--I have a lot of hair! I have about 2.5 hours before we leave for dinner! I better get moving!

I'm going to try to get organized and get going again! I haven't scrapped since last October and it is sooooo frustrating to see all my stuff and not have the energy or time to scrap!

I'm going to play motivational this month to see if I have the stuff! can I place 15 LO's for my goal??

shan!

Hey Jade!! Trying to start the new year off right!! Planning on giving myself some scrap time each week so I don't get soooo behind!
