I went Ms today to see what Slice cards they happened to have left, and to my surprise they had 3 left 2 of which I didn't have. (Wasn't going to get them at first for 5.00) but today they were marked down to 2.00 I figured for that price I am sure I can find something to use them for! I also on chance decided to walk down the aisle where the Slice stuff was originally and also to my surprise I found a Slice Bag!!!! I was so excited!

I wanted one but decided that after the deal on the machine and cards and everything else I go that I was not going to pay full price for it or any more than 20 online with shipping. I found it for 15.00!!!! Its a little dusty, I can tell it was stuffed away somewhere for a while! But nothing a little wet wash cloth won't fix!

Also at M's they had there 10 things I love about you Baby (boy and girl) on clearance for .99! I snatched up 2 of each, since we are trying I figured why not start to stock up now, while it was on clearance!

I feel like I had a Kory day and hit the Jackpot!!!!

Great finds!

Kory Day - lol!

Kory, I think you have given yourself a reputation. I actually thought of your shopping sprees yesterday when I was shopping on my lunch hour and came home with a nice little collection. Not as great of a deal as you find, but it was on my lunch hour, it was on sale, and I love it.

lol!

Well, I think you hit a few of the major criteria for it- 'lunch hour, on sale, and love it.'

Seriously, I'm laughing. Y'all crack me up!

I now always think of Kory when I find something great!

Today as soon as I found the Slice bag and 2.00 Slice Cards, the first thing I thought is I can't wait to tell Kory about my find! hahaha

From now on when I find something amazing and get awesome deals it will be a Kory day or a Kory Find! lol
You have become quite popular with all your findings Kory!

Oh and also thanks to Kory I am now addicted to my new Blog!

Okay, so for today's 'Kory Day,' look at this layout I just did here at work, sitting at my desk. lol

Crazy, ZERO budget layout, done at work. By DesignguyKORY

That's right! ZERO budget scrapbooking! See my 'ketchup cup' flower? I was thinking of making some 'mist' with a broken ink pen and my little spray bottle of eyeglass cleaner, but decided I need to get back to work... ;-)

I third the motion. I move that it should be called "A Kory Day" showing fun shopping trips and design at your desk projects

We either need a blog or a daily topic started here.

Becca - I went today as well and scored with the Slice cards, I was very selective earlier on which cards to buy but today at $2 I bought all the ones I didn't have, I scored 8 new slice cards!!! Great Kory Day!!!!

No, it was just in a blank book that I had at my desk at work. Which reminds me, I left my SmashBook at home AGAIN, today.

Okay, in true Kory fashion, I went to Ms scouring through what little clearance they have left. I found two sets of TH stamps (boundless flight and curious possibilities) for $5.99 each. Also bought a box of K&Co Christmas die cuts for 53c. I really don't need any of this stuff, I just couldn't let someone else get it.

On a side note, did anyone know that Ms matches competitor's advertised prices? There is a sticker by the register. When I questioned the cashier, she said they didn't so I pointed out the sign. She had no idea. Thought it was good to know.

I've seen/read that these stores will 'match' prices, but I've always imagined my own rude self being a cashier, and saying, "if you want it at their price, go there!'. Which is why I would not be a good cashier. Or anything remotely customer service related. I'm best at what I do: being bossy.

LoL

Seriously, tho, I also feel that the cashier wouldnt know what I'm talkin about- you know the one- the one that never knows when a product will be back in stock and won't even look in back to see if there are any more, and always claims to have never heard of a Spellbinder and doesnt think they sell them (cuz obviously I got that card from another store and am just tryin to buy it at their store).

Has anybody done this before? I'm sure it has to be a store that is within a certain area, the product is in their ad and you can show it? All that?

K

I have done it at Joanns with there Online price! For my Cricut, it didnt say online only and it also said two different prices in two different spots so I got it for the cheapest. Normally 120-150 I got it for 50% off at 70.00

I've brought in flyers to have them match their competitors' prices only if I know they do. I would never just walk in and ask. The only reason I asked today was because the sign was very clear that it did. The cashier, not so clear about it. She actually looked at another cashier and asked him if he knew. He looked as clueless as she did. *Sigh

I did reply to it, Miss Smart A!

LoL

Way to go, on your Cricut deal!

I got my first Cricut from a coworker. Sometimes I just wanna thank her for leading me into this all-consuming hobby. Really thank her...

That is cool that they honored the online price. Hmmm. Ima hafta try that.

You did right after I posted my post hahahah I saw that.

Thanks and you are lucky about your cricut! lol

They said they do as long as it doesn't say online only. We figured that someone wrote the code wrong, it was suppose to say online only. We did get super lucky!

And I love being a Smart A! hehehehe
