May name is Amélie, i live in France. I search a person living near Redmond.
My husband, has maybe an opprtunity to work in this town.
I want to know how is life out there...
Thank you for responses!
I live south of Redmond. This is a beautiful area...surrounded by two magestic mountain ranges (good for skiing/snowboarding), lots of lakes for water play and fabulous parks everywhere (for families). Hiking, biking are wonderful here also. It's only a 4 hour drive to the Pacific Ocean beaches.
Downside is we have weeks on end (month after month) of gray skies/no sunshine at all. Last winter we went 5 weeks without seeing the sunshine. I tell you; even these Pac NW people (hubby and me) were depressed. Our truly warm summer months are short: August being the best and hottest and usually September is nice. Plan a picnic in July and who knows. You learn to adapt to doing things in rain.
I'm sure you've been on the web by now to research the Seattle area.
Thank you sunnydi. I'm subscribe on your blog, i'm on blogspot too.
I make research but it's not easy when we don't speak english very well...
Can you tell me the better areas to rent housing and the areas to avoid???
Redmond and Kirkland are nice areas. Some parts of Bellevue are nice to live. I would suggest renting a house more then an apartment. Too many people for my taste living in an apartment. Iassaquah is a nice town also.
