IDK if it counts as a twist, but we were laughing between takes cuz DH accidently held the camera the wrong way! (As in away from us!) LOLOL! So we were smiling pretty big there...

Front Page is updated, girls.

Sonja - I counted your twist.

And I finally got a Week 1 done for a sample. Nothing like getting a jump start early, huh?

:-)

After you've done a few challenges with me, you'll figure out that I'm a very open direction hostess. The twist is yours to be interpreted however YOU envision it. All you have to do is explain your take. If you say it's twisted, then I'll usually agree.

Young and Old alike could be taken as a photo of a child with a grandparent, or something that young people and old people both like. That's just a couple of ways you could go with it. There are infinite possibilities for others!

Here's mine for week 3 with the twist. My dgd was laughing her head off watching a little boy run around the altar area right before the Christening started. I think she really wanted to join him, but she knew better!

I have a question about the neutral palette.. since in the rules, black and white are listed as neutrals, would a black and white lo be considered a acceptable for week 4's neutral challenge?

I have my last two done, but my batteries died, I need to find some new ones or some that have enough juice in them to take pictures.

Yep. Anything in the neutrals palette is acceptable for the neutrals only. Anything NOT in the neutrals - well, there better not be very MUCH of it.

Girls, I'm neck deep in trying to get my DT projects done for my local scrapbook store. I have a neutral sample done, but I haven't rolled onto the lime one yet. I'll get it done - may be April 30 before it's done, but it'll get done.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Well, MY lime one IS done, finally, because I PLANNED it to be done. I've been up to my neck in my LSS design team projects, and one of them for the month of June is going to be LIME GREEN!

It worked out perfectly because I'm doing a Praise Page Series on the 23rd Psalm and June will be Verse 2 - Green Pastures - which, as you know, are LIME GREEN when the grass is baby new.

So ... it's dark now, or I'd show you. You'll have to wait until tomorrow. Sorry.

Okay I totally flopped on this challenge this month. I am so busy trying to get these baby books done that I haven't had time to do any scrapping for myself. The layout are wonderful, I am hoping to do better next month.

Hey - no problem. Do not be hard on yourself.

Challenge is only that - a challenge. If you don't complete it, it's not a failure, it's simply another chance to try again.

I imagine those baby books are a HUGE project, and I admire ANYone who scraps projects for someone else. It's so much WORK! I'm lucky to get my own stuff done, much less someone else's.

And how many forums are you hosting again?

Seriously. You have accomplished GREAT things this month! Sit down and have a cup of coffee and watch the world go by for a minute. Sounds like you need it!

Sonja -

Don't sweat it too horribly much. I'm sure that green will roll around again before too much longer. Monochrome has a way of making that happen.

Here's my week 2: Lotta Lime!
Okay, I know it looks more olive, but I swear IRL it's much more limey! (See the paper pad I used K&C Around the World... It's all bright green, not olive!)

If not, no biggie, I have another one I'm trying to put together... I just realized I used mostly blues and neutrals and only a tiny bit of the other colors...

Send me your number as well, and let me know if you completed the twist. I didn't do a great job keeping up with those this month.

oops.

Thanks for catching that!

I don't think I'll go back and renumber though. It'll get too confusing if I try to edit it now that I'm taking votes. Just include the title with your layout number if you choose a #6 neutral.

Head over to the May forum to see who you decided to put in the winner's circles.

Thanks for playing!
