I barely submitted week 1 before week 2 came out, but I made it. I had a real struggle with this one - just couldn't make it my own. But I think I like the way it turned out. I'll have to live with it a little while first. I did the twist because I have never cut my pictures into shapes before. I just learned how and I think I like it.
I have not touched these sketches at all. Should be working on them this week. If I could do 4 LO's for NSD, I am hoping to do atleast 2 in a week when my dh is not around looking after the baby. So I am off to go select some pics.
I am done with Week 2. Soon as I saw it I knew which photo I wanted to scrap up. Hard part was digging through the paper stack and coming up with a plan.
Soon as summer break starts, step one is CLEAN my SCRAP ROOM. Step 2 is BLOCK MY PAPERS so I HAVE A PLAN FROM NOW ON!
Anyway - here's Sketch #2. I'm working on an IDEA for the week 1 bonus, but nothing is gelling just yet.
1. Changed from 2 photos to 1 photo
2. Moved banner to bottom of layout
3. Increased the width of the top layer paper.
4. Incorporated title into embellishment
5. Added ribbon
6. No Journaling Tag - I always journal on the back.

too funny --we are just so set in our ways. Thanks -- hoping to do some scrapping tomorrow.
I found your challenge last week while I was searching for inspiration. I worked on the sketches from Wks 1 & 2 and have come back for week 3.
Thank you so much for this thread and challenge. I basically didn't scrap at all last year (took up another addicting habit - quilting) and since I was so far behind to begin with, now I'm really behind.
My take on week #3. Can I just say that it's harder than I thought to go from 12x12 down to 8 1/2 x 11!! So there are few changes on this to make it work!! Hope that's ok!! Wild at Heart By FinallyMama
Week#1 Bonus sketch.
ummm, I decided not to upload this LO after closer examination from an outsider's point of view I decided that at a quick glance.....people might think my DH is naked. He has on swimming trucks but I thought better not risk it. Trust me when I say I did a week 1 bonus.
This one I turned 90 degrees and used that way.
Thanks, Jami. I was prepared to wait till the next one in June, if need be. I'm not sure where I'll start. I have an art journal that my therapist wants me to use, and I'm thinking it'll be easier for me to use sketches in it.
This is my layout for the WEEK #3 sketch: He's Home!!!!!!!!! After 6 months of being deployed to a secret location my son is finally back in England. YIPPEE
Now he can get reaquainted with his 1 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter.
