Seeing Matthew stripping would be a great gf movie. My bff that lives in another state and I used go on Saturdays and see the same movie. When the one that got out last would call the first and we would discuss the movie. It made going to the movies alone a lot easier.
My sweetie doesn't do movie theaters so most of the time I go alone.

Movie question: Where do you like to sit in the theater and Why? Do you share your popcorn?
I sit about 5 rows from the back right slab dab in the middle b/c there is no reason for anyone to crawl over me to go out. If you want popcorn buy your own I am not sharing my $8 bucket. LoL I did share with the kid.

Happy early saturday morning. Yesterday Dan and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary and my son Brendal turned 14 yesterday as well...it was a very fun-filled day for all!

I am getting the new groups organized and stuff so if you don't get a new sister in the next few days, pretty please be patient, it will get to you soon...thank you so much for always being so easy-going girls!

I will be back tomorrow...for now I have to get busy with work stuff...paperwork NEVER ends. If only it was paper CRAFTING and not paperwork...that would make my nights sail by for sure!

Well, love you girls! Have a great weekend all!

Tina~my whole family is going to be praying for you every night. You will be in our thoughts and prayers always!

Paula!how sweet that you say you missed me so much!that just made my day!!!! It feels so good to know someone thinks about you, so thank you for being that person to think of me!

Sassie- so sorry to hear about the accident. Hope you are better soon.

Dh LOVES the movies so we go a lot. He'll even drag me if Im tired.... Sometimes I end up falling asleep. We always try to sit Somewhere in he middle of the while theatre. Middle row in the centre. I do share my poPcorn. We always get sucked into buying the big combo because we want a big drink plus candy The bag is massive and dh and I don't even eat half, no reason not to share.

Kimberly!!!!! Congrats on 21 years. That's a great amount of time loving someone. Here's to many many more.

Deb, he is way too cute!
Victoria, who won?
I got up early (before DH) and went to my scrappy nook. In a couple of minutes my DH came in there and asked if I was awake or not, because I was sleepwalking earlier in the week. That would be too cool if I scrapbooked in my sleep! Wonder what the pages would be of?

yes, Im in the AC. Unfortunately because of my uncertainty's if I'll be home *and having to pay for some in home care* Or if Im placed in treatments *I still have the co-pay* Plus this ER visit & EMS run to the ER & they brought me home (well a med-van did, they wheeled me into my house & bed room what a sad site)

It was tuff last night, Im in alot of pain. Had the ems come again to take me in for some pain medication around 3-4 I couldnt take it any more. Im "comfortable" ATM - but I cant do anything more for pain medication until I can see my specialist, because my body is allergic to so many things. Finding the right pain management has always proven to be a huge challenge.

I just have a really bad feeling. I hated to have to drop this swap I was so excited, but I asked to follow along & still get to know everyone because I want to be part of it one day

Good Morning Ladies,

The day is set to be hot and miserable here today. Have already turned the hose on the dogs trying to cool them off. Would have loved to had a video of them they were having so much fun.

I am just planning on doing this and that around the house - hopefully unpack from my trip to scramp camp last weekend. I need to redo my room though to have room for all the stuff I brought back.

It is so nice to see a wonderful mix of old and new sisters. I have (I think) sent out friend requests to all I have not had the pleasure of getting to know yet, but if I missed anyone please send me a request.

I go through phases on movies, sometimes going all the time sometimes not for months at a time. I like to sit close to the front, in the middle if not busy but to the side if it is. Will definately share popcorn as I can't and shouldn't eat it all anyway. The drinks kill me, I don't share those but even a small is to much to drink and I hate spending all that money and then only drinking part.

Will check in later, have a great day.

We ventured out today to the city to Bass Pro. Today it was 109. Yesterday it was 111. The world news had our city as the featured as the highest in history since they began keeping records in 1853.
Anyway dh didn't do too well walking to the store in the heat. I was really worried about him and wanted to take him to the VA but he wouldn't go. I am going to keep him home in the a/c until it cools off.

Laura I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hi all! Hope everyone is staying cool. We had some really bad storms here last night with 80+mph winds...We lost a tree, but thatnkfully it didn't hit anything. Still hotter than blazes here...

Went and saw Magic Mike. Couldn't tell you what it is about....just saw lots of abs...LOL

Worked from 10am-11pm today. Taught an alcohol ink class at work with an 8 hour crop following....So I am going to grab the Kindle and plop myself into bed.

Laura, we would love for you just to hang out with us and chat. That's what I've been doing for the last year and a half!! LOL!!I hope you get to feeling better. It stinks being in pain!! In fact I just took 2 sleeping pills in hopes that I can get some sleep.

So if I doze off here in a minute you'll forgive me won't you? LOL!!

We had a great time with the kids today. I gave them their chairs and everyone loved them. I got pictures of each family sitting in theirs.

Dane,Bree,Brooke,Shane, and Drake are all spending the night. Everyone is asleep but me. I'm giving the sleeping pills a few minutes to work and I'm going to try to go to sleep again.

When we go to the movies we like to sit in the last row of the first section. The first section is up really close and then there's an empty isle behind you. So where we sit there's nobody behind us, plus those chairs rock!!! I love to rock. Normally nobody sits in front of you either because that's too close so you can prop your feet up on those chairs. LOL!!

Sometimes we share popcorn because at our theater if you buy a large you get a free refill so then we only have to decide who has to go get the refill. LOL!

I have an AARP card Paula. I'll have to check into that. We go to a Regal theater and I'm not sure they do that.

Next week I'm taking myself to see Ma!!!!

Headed to our new church! The student is preaching since Al is still not quite full speed. I'm singing in the choir, so I don't have to worry that I will take someone's seat and make someone mad the very first day!

Suzi - hope Dennis is better the heat is horrible - we had a cool down yesterday it was in the 90's.

I think I want to go see a movie today with all the talk going on here.

Deb, hope you finally got some sleep.

For those asking, Last year I went on a scrap camp with 12 other scrappers I met on line through the kit club that I belong to - it was up in the Colorado mountains. This year there were only 8 of us and we ended up staying at the house of the owner of the kit club. We flew in Wed, June 20 and out the following Sunday...so got in a lot of good scrapping time. I ended up doing 11 1/2 layouts which is good for me. Laughed a lot and had a good time. It is horribly quiet here now that I am back home. Just love meeting up with people you meet on-line that have common interests.

Happy Canada day. Our countries birthday is next week.

I'll have to put pictures of everyone in their chairs later today. Everyone loved them. Even the kids!!

This morning we all went out to sit out front in the road to keep an eye on Brooke and Shane riding their bikes. We all took our new chairs out there. I had Shane take a picture of us.

Tinadn, I hope you are keeping your spirits up.

So the Everett Aquasocks won the ball game. It was fun though. Although I am so tired of sprinkling rain I could scream. Jim and Preston just headed out to the 11 year old all stars. This is the team he should have been on. I just need an afternoon off! So I am chillaxing at home!

JCI and boy I've missed a lot of everyone's goings on, I'm so sorry.

To all who are ailing hope you get well soon!

As for going to the pictures I sit in the nose bleed section. I hate people sitting behind me. As for sharing I do the popcorn, but not my drink. Last film I went to see was 'Brave' not too bad.

I'm so looking forward to being a Secret Sister, I've never done anything like this before, it's all so exciting!!

3. Married? Kids? Ages? Pets???

I know us old-timers know most of this stuff...but there are a few newbies too.

Bo Bunny Little Miss, Petaloo chipboard

2. Anything going on in your life that you'd like to share with the group?

Getting ready to go stay with my granddaughters for 48 hrs while their parents go out of town.

3. Married? Kids? Ages? Pets???

Married for 23 yrs to a man who took on a woman with 3 kids(3,4,6) when her husband walked out on them. He was a 38yr old bachelor when he married me.
I have 3 kids...Bobby is 29 and in the AF and stationed in England. He just got home after being away for 6 months on a mission. He has 2 of my precious grandbabies over there with him. BooHoo. Someday I will get to meet my grandson.
Kris is 27 and works in the oilfields. He is father to my two precious granddaughters that I take care of when he's out of town.
Bekka is 26 and my only girl. She is currently living back home and looking for a job. You should never work for your sister-in-law....after 3 yrs enough was enough. She is dating a great guy.

Our dog Nikki went to sleep at the age of 14 this past Jan. Right now my house is overrun with cats. LOL

Here are my answers:

1. I'd like any boys stuff. Working in Ds' album. Also embossing folders and dies for my big shot.
2. Not too much going on except that dd os starting jk in sept. her new school has a program called building blocks for kindergarten that is kinda like school for 4 weeks of July 9-12. It is just so the kids can get accustomed to going to school and help make the transition easier.
3. Yes married. Will be one year on aug 27th. We hve 2 kids. Dd is 4 and Ds is 2. Only pets we have are also fish.

This was hard to choose LOL. I need a new paper Trimmer and was thinking the cartridge, roller style was teh way to go, Bo Bunny little miss collection or Prima Fairy Belle Collection, and finally would love to try Purple Cows Pin It tool and pins.

2. Anything going on in your life that you'd like to share with the group?
My Oldest just Graduated from HS and is headed to the local University to study Physcology. Other then that life is pretty normal here and doesnt get to exciting, thankfully.

3. Married? Kids? Ages? Pets??? Remarried for the last 5 years, DH treats me like a Queen and my 2 oldest children like they were his own. We have 2 little girls together, Veronica soon to be 4 and Cara 2, my little princesses. They have their Daddy wrapped around their little fingers. No pets, got tired of cleaning up after them all the time when they were the teens pets and job.

I am thrilled to bits to have been part of this swap since Pink first asked me - years ago!

I am planning on doing the same as Rebecca- being on here to annoy everyone, but not taking part. That doesnt mean I dont love you all to pieces though! I love checking in on here!

So Ms. Rachel, are you saying that I annoy everyone????

I wouldnt DREAM of it, Ms Rebecca! I am the only annoying one around here!

Hello Deb!

Well, about me? Im have no humans, 2 adopted cat's & an adopted African Grey Parrot. I also have found my soul mate after 39 years of life (smile) We just celebrated out 1 year anniversary on June 21st.

I love movies, altering things, creating weird art, creating Canvas & mixed Media arts. Im not a "typical" scrapbook er but I love art in general no matter which factor really.

I really dis-like fighting, drama & being mean. I am a very caring, loving, happy person. I speak my mind, I cant hold my tongue & Im protective of my friends or anyone I care about.

I love making people happy, bringing a smile to another's face is what I strive for in life. Now that I feel like I filled out a Looking for love survey LOL I am going to finish up the questions here & get to creating something

No humans?? In that case, what is your soulmate!!!

African grey parrot hey? Now Tina M is going to be interested in THAT piece of news!

Rebecca, have a blast!!! I hope you can check in with us. I don't know if I can go a whole week without seeing your beautiful face. Just text me a picture once in awhile of you having fun!!!

Laura, it's great to know a few things about you!! That's so sweet that you found your soul mate, true love.

I totally loved being pregnant too! That first moment of discovering that you had new life inside you, the changes in your body all preparing you to be a mother, the first flutterings to the big kicks -- bring it on - I would have done it half a dozen times more if I could have! No morning sickness either - just ent off tea and coffee - I used to drink hot orange squash, though I couldnt bear the thought now!

Reading that brought tears to my eyes Deb, that is what my house was like growing up. All my friends came to my house because my MOM was "cool". At least once a week if not all weekend that is were everyone crashed, was fed and hung out. When I graduated from High School we moved across country from New Brunswick to Alberta but I am sure if we had stayed they would of been there too for my MOM. Like you, she was a MOM to them all and made them all feel special and important. I hope that one day when my kids are grown I am rememeber fondly by my kids friends too and that I made them feel welcome, loved, special and important. Send you hugs for the great way you raised your boys and so many others even if you did not see that at the time.

My son texted me today from his holiday in New York to tell me that he and Emily (dd) had not found anywhere in NY that made pizza as good as their Mama!! Now theres love for ya!

Oh girls, you are so sweet!!! You know it was so hectic sometimes with all the kids here, but now that it's over and I actually lived through it, I'm so thankful!! It's made me so much closer to my boys. They always felt they could come to me with any and every problem. Some made me blush, some made me mad, but all in all, they all made me appreciate my closeness.

John and I were invited to an Easter gathering at a friend of the kids house. All the kids friends were there with all their babies. John said to me, "We are the only old people here." I said, "I know, isn't it awesome?"

Victoria, thank you for explaining that to me. It certainly doesn't seem to hold him back any does it? In fact it might be a motivation. Especially pitching the way he does. He's had a lot to overcome and he's done a fine job of it. It must make you twice as proud!!

When Neil and I went to see EMily in Dubai a couple of years ago, she took us to a RAVE and we were far and away the oldest there! Best thing about it was that loads of the kids kept calling us Mum and Dad and buying us drinks, and I can tell you those drinks were mighty expensive!

Deb wow tires and ac at the same time.

I did get the tires and a front end alignment. They charged my AC and put some dye in the system to see where the leaks are. So I have AC for a few days until it all leaks out. LOL!!

Remember those Tommy Bahama chairs I was telling you girls about? They had the soft side cooler built in, a carry pouch for towels, sunscreen, whatever, the cup holder and you could strap it up and carry it like a backpack?

Well I just went to Costo and bought one for all 8 of the kids and grandkids. I have 2 additional grands since Jarrod's girlfriend has 2. So I was wondering, since it's summer and they go to the beach all the time, if I should go ahead and give them too them or wait until Christmas. They are Christmas gifts. If I wait I'll have to store all 8 of them for months. Plus I figured they could get some use out of them now.

What do you think? They're all coming over on Saturday so I was wondering if I should go ahead and do it.....

I bought them so early because I know by Christmas they won't have anymore. And they're so cool I didn't want to miss out. Jarrod saw mine and really loved it!!

I agree with Shatema - I hope you gave them to them on Saturday - nothing more fun than a surprise pressie, right?!

3. Yes married. Will be one year on aug 27th. We hve 2 kids. Dd is 4 and Ds is 2. Only pets we have are also fish.

I worked on girly stuff for your first package last time around, and boy stuff the second time - but probably you need some more toddler/little boy stuff now and less baby boy stuff - right?!

Wow - I'm finally ACU! This is my on-call week at work and it has been so busy I had to actually go in for a few hours at the weekend (on top of my normal working week)!. Today started with a 4am phone call asking if it was ok to shut the maternity unit to mums in labour for few hours as they were completely full without even a stable for a single mum!

That early phone call wrecked any further chances of sleep and I am dog-tired now, so heading off to bed early as I can't concentrate any more!

Night girlfriends!

Not much exciting. I will turn 50 during this round. Still working and enjoying my DS sports interests.

3. Married? Kids? Ages? Pets???

I have been married to Jim for almost 14 years - on September 12 it will be 14. I have one son, Preston, who is going to be 12 in November. The other female member of the family is Pearl, an 8 month old black lab-mix. She is my pretty girl.

I was afraid to go around any bend too fast Rachel!! I couldn't even take off fast in the rain. With the new tires it rides so much smoother. I can't believe the difference!!

Yes I loved it. I loved feeling the kicks and watching my belly move. It was awesome for me. I did get morning sickness but only for the first trimester. No swollen ankles or anything like that. My first labour was quite tough though. A lot of back labour... And it lasted forever. Started having contractions Sunday and dd wasn't born until wed night! Ouchie!

Hey there Nikilynn!! So someone started some of those fires? That's horrible. The things that people do amazes me!!!

I just got home from work. What a hot day. I had to do a service order today which was recleaning all the exterior windows in this big 2 story house. When they built the houses on either side of him they splattered his windows with stucco and paint.

More money for me so it was no problem. Other than the heat. I was sweating bullets. My shirt was drenched and that was at 10am. I was drinking lots of water though. Seems I have very little work for the rest of the week so I think I'm staying in the AC and relaxing.

John has Wed, Thur, and Friday off so maybe we'll do something fun. Of course I don't really want to be out in the heat. It's a dilemma. LOL!!! Maybe the beach..... Daytona has some pretty awesome fireworks.

I even saw that Sweet Jackie checked in!!

Those of you going through rough times, I have you all in my prayers...

And those of you going through happy times (Congratulations Tina!!!) I am very happy for you too!!

Life here has been extremely busy with job title changes and graduation and baseball and moving kids from college etc etc. I know everyone has a busy life so this is no excuse. I've just had to much on my plate and some things had to be set aside for awhile.. BUT.. I've missed you all! Waving to those of you that I haven't met yet.. looks like you all are having a great time!

And.. with that beings said.. I'm off in this icky heat to a baseball game again! Have a great night! Miss you all!

Hey ladies~! Just wanted to drop in again and answer my own questions...lol!

I would LOVE to get any border punches, papers, or embellishments off my wishlist...

I am working in a home as a nurse with a 19 year old quadriplegic and I really do love my job. I do mostly overnights but on the weekends, I alternate having the day shift with another nurse.

I have been happily married to my college sweetheart for 21 years (anniversary just a few days ago). We do have a couple kids plus a few more...7 total ranging in age from 19 down to 3. Brandt Arden (19 ds), Mackenzie Paige (17 dd), Brendal Emery (14 ds), Landon Baileigh (11 dd), Tauryn Avaree (6 dd), Rowyn Kenzleigh (4 dd) and Baelin Ross (3 ds). We have one little teacup poodle named Capri and my husband has an outside hunting dog named Reece. That is all though...wouldn't want any activity to disrupt my quiet little boring existance!

Have a wonderful day ladies! I'll probably be back unless work is more active than usual!

Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome notes...

Here are my answers:

I love Mickey Mouse, Pugs and Crafts (all kinds)

I was an office manager of a recycling center for 30 years and was laid off 2 years ago and my hobby of crafting mainly making jewelry became my living, Now I am a vendor traveling across the country selling jewelry. Check out my website www.anettescrafts,com . So not much time for scrapbooking but Megan inspired me to start again so here I am.

I am single, and I was born 2-13-1962, and hit the big 50 last year. I have one son Race Dylan, 23, who is a tattoo artist and travels around the county doing his craft. I have 2 pugs, Daisy Mae, and Ziggy.

I may not always post but i enjoy reading yours! I am at a big bike rally in Kentucky this week!

Until next time...........
