I went to a Bible Study today hoping it would be a good way to meet some people here. Luck has it that I sat at a table with two ladies who are somewhat newer to Denver and both scrapbook! They even know what I'm talking about when I say Cricut. YEAH! We are supposedly going to plan an Archiver's day soon. Fingers crossed.
Just CI -worked on a LO a bit inbetween all the madness, hope to post and get ACU soon.
Got all the appliances in, had to hold off on the new fridge for now, ended up getting suckered in to getting a new roof, so the deductable ate up some of my appliance money. Not that we didn't "need" the new roof, otherwise insurance wouldn't of approved it, but I am sure it could of waited! We had a bad hail storm in June and the roofing companies are on a feeding frenzy around here! Made all my valances for the windows yesterday and today I will be working on covering the window box for over the sliding glass door.
New counter tops by the end of the month and then this project is over!! All from a bucket of paint!
Hope everyone is well and getting more scrappy time in than me!
Don't remember which carts I used for most.
I did the CCR and used some of the things loaded in there. The loopy bg was from Elegant Edges. No title By ChansGram
Used the ribbon and bow, then went looking for something else and found the circle flower in my stash made out of the same ribbon,so I just had to use it, even tho I am not sure I like it! TFL!
Hi everyone. Sorry I disappeared. And to think, I thought September would be a good month.
First week was just crazy busy with the first week and school and soccer season starting and having to deal with all 3 kids playing instead of just 1. And early this week, my DH's BFF's sister passed away. We knew it was coming (she had cancer) but he's been best friend's with M for almost 30 years so my DH is feeling like he lost his sister as well. Its been rough.
I do have a couple of projects started and will get 3 or more done this month and this weekend, I'm going to get all caught up on love and reading this thread and be caught up with everyone in a few days.
I haven't been using my cricut much. I haven't even used the 3 new cartridges I've had for a couple of weeks. I did use some old stand bys on this one - H2O, Don Juan and New Arrival All Wet By Dkscrapper
I am going to try to get some pics taken and uploaded today but I have such a migraine that for now I am going back to bed. I had such great plans to scrap today but unless I can get some relief, that is not going to happen
Okay ladies, I'm ACU to here. Hoping I can get back in the scrapping mood soon. Tomorrow I'm planning a nice long run when the kids are in school and I'm hoping that will help. It tends to clear my head and work off some stress.
Norma, sorry for your loss!
Jealous of all the rain. We've had 100+ days. Yuck.
I finally got some scrapping time and time to take pics and get them uploaded! The pics aren't great but I am tired of waiting for the sun to shine on a day I have time to take them! Teh sun is shining today but it is really windy so I ended up taking them inside. Two of these 3 have the twist of a swirl (my girls and Forest Gump)
I REALLY like the LO 'My Girls" it is a little out of my comfort zone but I am thrilled with it. The one question I have though is, should I replace the background pp? I know you can't see most of it but I jsut can't decide. I BUY lots of pp but use mostly solids. I am trying to end that! I am challenging myself to use more pp in my LOs. I don't know if I shoudl change it out for a solid or a differetn pp or just leave it alone. My Girls By Crazycricut
