I haven't seen it yet. I will see if they have past episodes on Netflix.

Have not seen it. Wasn't it cancelled or did I get info wrong?

The only thing I liked about Craft Wars was when Cheryl Darrow won. She is so amazingly talented. Check her out at Ten Second Studio.

I need a middle option. While I don't LOVE the show, I LOVE that it exists. Two of my friends appeared and I LOVED that. I LOVE that crafting is so popular right now. I don't especially love the challenges or the judging, but neither keeps me from watching. The only thing I truly HATE is the ridiculous voice-overs/dubbing.

The first season is over. It was planned as an 8 (I think) episode summer fill, with the possibility of returning in the future.

Ugh, I hated it. I watched maybe 3 episodes and then took it off my DVR's schedule. I think the challenges are ridiculous, the dubbing is irritating, and the judges drove me nuts with the hypocritical statements (I also didn't agree with most of their opinions, so that didn't help! LOL).

Yeah, I only watched like 3 eps before I started throwing things at the TV!

I actually like Tori on her reality show but hated her on this. That bright red lipstick was horrible. Yes, the voiceovers and judges reading from a script was very distracting and I felt contestants were reading too. But I did like that they featured men as well as women.

I only watched the first couple episodes and I really didn't like it.
I didn't like the way the show was laid out and I didn't like the type of "crafts" they had the contestants doing....
I imagine a craft show as making smaller, craft projects.....I have no interest in watching people compete to make a playhouse or patio furniture....

it hasn't been on here for awhile now. I think I watched about 3 episodes. Is it still on even?

Absolutely hated the show. That was not crafting and felt embarrassed for the contestants and hope they didn't want a future job in the carfting bussiness after that.

The judges were constantly mean on purpose! They and tori were horrible to people. Crafting is an art and their way of doing things isn't the only way.

Thank goodness the season is over and sadly I hope this show doesn't come back for a second season!

Sorry.

You should find our craft wars previous posts. Those were hilarious!

OMG HOw did I forget that! Constantly you could tell that they edited over things and added words that that hadn't been said at the time of filming. And they did a horroble job at that cause you could so tell!

I watched 4 episodes. Friends of mine were in two of them. I loved watching their shows, but really could have passed on the rest. One thing I found annoying was how they give you upcoming clips before the commercial, then repeat the clips post-commercial, and then finally show everything. A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G. A lot of reality shows do that, though.

I liked the snark-fests on here. We don't get the show, so it was fun reading people's opinions "live" so to speak.

Saw about 5 minutes of it... that was all I could stand. The wreaths they were making were horrid.

I didn't really hate it but didn't like it either. The one hour I wasted on this show they made playhouses out of school supplies. It didn't hold my interest enough to tune in for another episode.

I love the concept, just not sure I liked the final product.

I loved the concept, the execution not so much.

As others have mentioned, the dubbing was annoyingly obvious, and I thought the challenges were pretty obvious. More times than not you could tell as soon as the intros were over and the challenge theme was announced, who was going to be cut from the first round--there were always 2 who fit the theme perfectly and one odd-crafter out.

Of course, maybe they got better by the end, but I ended up deleting the last 3 shows without watching them.

In a revamp, I'd love to see it not as an elimination challenge format, but a points format--have a rubric, assign values, and the crafter with the highest score wins. And have 3 challenges, 2 just seems so anticlimactic.

Now I never thought I would be sticking up for a Tori Spelling, but I think several contestants were a touch rude towards her and almost disrespectful during her advice segments. The vast majority of contestants seemed to not even listen to her and just dismissed any advice she had. A couple did pay attention but most just gave Tori the “stink eye” and couldn’t wait for her to leave. Tori does seems very mechanical, as if she is reading scripted lines, but the contestants should show her some respect (it is her show after all).
I may be nuts… but I keep seeing this “disrespectful vibe” from the contestants towards Tori through their body language, actions, and responses. I was not surprised when there was a host substitution and someone else stepped in for Tori.
Tori’s past is shaded, and her crafting competence is questionable. Maybe the contestants are reacting to that.

She tells everyone to grab their glue guns and then they get Bit**ed at for using them. Not to cool.

Some people won and didn't really even finish their projects. That show was a total mess. I thought her advice was questionable. Those judges were just out there to be mean. Why did they have to be so mean?

That episode when tori wasn't there was actually less annoying than most. I liked her reality show but just couldn't stand this one.

There was one ep that the guy judge was crazy about using a particular glue for glitter and that was it. Any other was unacceptable. Ridiculous! You can use whatever you want, I just thought the judging was stupid and most of the projects I saw looked like complete cr ap.

Hmmm - maybe they should do this show with Martha Stewart hosting it. (NOT!)

I saw part of one or two episodes. Couldn't even hold my attention for an entire episode - thought it was garbage.

I DVR'd them and found my mind wandering while watching. Just didn't hold my interest.

I thought the best episode was the wine show..it was the only one where the supplies made any sense, and I thought some of the contestants ideas were good.
As for the commenting and Tori making everyone feel small- that was horrible.
The best part of Craft wars? The snark fest here on the forums! Made it worthwhile to watch.

I thought it was a great concept for a show. Hopefully, they'll go back to the drawing board.

I watched it hoping for some sort of inspiration but I though the projects they had them do were to far out there.
Like the one with the play houses. I have a daycare so I was excited to see the theme but you couldn't put them outside they would be ruined inside of days. Oh well. Back to DIY I guess.

I thought it was a hot mess. I kept hoping it would get better, but it didn't. Hated the judges - they were mean for no reason, and totally felt like it was "their way or the highway".

The projects were nothing I could relate to, and nothing I would ever think about crafting. I was really hoping for something more realistic, I guess, than "here's a bunch of weird stuff, now make something out of it."
