Good morning and acu2h!

Lots of great layouts and cards ladies!

Henri, I am so glad that you and Bill found your way back to each other! You share such a beautiful love story and I wish you many years of love and happiness!

Melissa, good luck with the studies. I am always in awe of mothers who do school and take care of their families (and scrapp too) because it seems so overwhelming to me.

Christine, good luck in getting back into the groove with the challenges. I had to drop out of them all except for one. I got involved in too many at once and it became stressful trying to meet everything.

Hello to everyone else here and have a great day!

Hi ladies jci, I see it's been a scrappy weekend for some. I probably won't get anymore scrapping done until my crop this weekend.

I had a great weekend w/DD, she just left for home, we went to the Tuskegee-Morehouse football classic yesterday, then to the movies (Taken2), then out to dinner, stayed up way to late talking but I love it when she visits.

Karen, glad the outing w/the scouts went well and the boys behaved for the most part.

Rebecca, glad to see you scrapping again, missed seeing your creative pages.

ACU again, I know there were other comments to make but can't think of them now...will check back later, back to my page kits

BEv - we were like 2 ships that passed in the night. LOL.

Just home from Va -- terrible internet access. OH well. I'll catch up this week.

Waiting on Baseball -- raining in Md. boooooo

So we need another challenge - hmmmmmm what to do.

How about a lift challenge with a twist. Lift the person before you on the players list in the first post. I'll lift the final person.

Eileen- will you add my name to the 1st page player's list. then I know who to lift for the challenge.

Henri - welcome. Nice to read about your love story.
2 related family stories.

1st- when my parents decided to elope after knowing each other 6 whole days, my grandmother didn't say no but she did say they couldn't run away together (that boy is a stranger) and had to bring chaperones (my mom's sister and BIL).

2nd- My hubby's grandfather married his old high school flame late in life. She had wanted to marry him but he left town due to other reasons. Both married, had children, lives, then both were widowed. Now in their Sr. years, they reconnected and married and are so adorable together and so good for each other.

LOTO - you ladies have been busy this weekend.

I'm out of town, but I brought some scrapping things - started two LO's and realized I forgot something I needed for each of them, so they're on hold until I get home.

Spent the afternoon at the Milwaukee Art Museum today - so much more relaxed than Chicago's, and they have a wonderful collection.

Off to work on all these tabs...

Tena - glad you had a wonderful weekend with Anitra.
Lisa(Irish) -have fun touring, did Cassie go with you to Milwaukee?

Well, football and soccer are over. So Addy is down to just hockey and dance, and Trent doesn't participate in a winter sport as he likes his weekends to hunt and then ice fish with Russ. He will start a baseball clinic in January to get ready for baseball in the spring though. We can finally get back to family dinners and I won't be living in the car on week nights now!

Love that I get to lift Anna. I already have several of her two pagers in my faves. Great challenge, Eileen.

It's Monday. I have a sick kid at home. Fun! Nathan has a game tonight and my dad really wants to see him play. Since we've always lived out of state he's never gotten to see my kids do their thing like he has the other grandkids. The problem?? All of Nathan's games now that he's back on the field are home games except one. Our home field is on a very big hill and my dad has terrible arthritis and neuropathy. Not sure how I'm going to get him up the hill. Already know my mom can't make it. With the Alzheimer's she will forget she missed it though. it makes me sad that they are at this point in life just as we move back. It sucks!

To all you wonderful ladies. Vincent passed away in the wee hours of the night. He gave a good fight, but his heart couldn't take any more. As he was such a sick child/adult his wish was that if he passed to have his organs available for transplant, but they were too damaged, and so he wished his body to medical science in the hopes of helping other very sick children/adults some how, some way. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for all your heartfelt wishes and prayers.

I'm way behind, but give me a few days and I'll be back to catch up.

So Sorry Sandra -- what a wonderful thing Vincent is doing. I'm considering that too. I've known several people recently who have committed to donating their body.

Well trying to catch up. Will start from my last post and catch up with others when I have achance.

Cold, wet, rainy here. YUK

Lisa-My grandparents are going through the same thing right now. It's so sad. My poor grandfather has Alzheimer's so bad he does stuff like turn on the water hose outside and leaves it running all day, forgets who people are, and walks around in a state of confusion. I hate to see him like this. He was such and energetic man who always had projects to do around the house; and now my grandmother is afraid to even let him out of her sight.

Hi ladies, jci quickly. It's been busy around here.

Lesley, I'm lifting you.

Sandra, so very sorry to hear about your cousin {{{Hugs}}}.

Lisa(lpeeps) hope your dad will be able to make at least one game...is there a wheelchair/ramp available for him to use?

Wow, you girls have been busy busy! LOTO

Couldn't make it on here yest because I had a huge allergy attack and was sneezing and congested all day. Woke up today and felt great. Not sure what triggered it, but I'm glad it's over.

Sandra~So sorry to hear about cousin. Hugs to you and your family.

LisaP~hopefully you can find a way for your dad to see your son play. I like the wheelchair suggestion. AND Alzheimer's is such terrible disease. My DH's grandpa had it and it was heartbreaking to watch him go through it. It's so hard to watch our parent's age, isn't it?

Off to give luv. BBL.

Sandra... so sorry to hear for your loss.

I have to finish one assignment today to hit my homework goal, and then I'm going to scrap the rest of the day. I've taken a week or so off after the 30 Day Sketch challenge and I finally feel like I want to scrap again! LOL!

Not a problem Anna, not offended at all.

I have picked out on to Scraplift but I have to check to see if I can make it work with one of the ones I have in line to scrap. I scrap chronologically so I have about 5 or 6 to do that it won't work with then I will try to find pictures that I can adapt.

There are such pretty layouts in scrapperbees gallery that I have a lot of choices! Touch decision!

Bev -- too funny that you quoted my post. I was just about to say again -- the challenges are just there for inspiration -- remember this is a "VERY LAID BACK" challenge.

That being said -- I got another one done today. Woot woot!

It started out for the 2 page sketch challenge -- I'll need to look at the sketch again. Not sure if it still meets the challenge or not. But I had fun with it.

Hello all...popping in to catch up on some more love. I have layouts finished but I need to scan and upload them. Might try tonight if I don't fall asleep. Spent the whole day outside with a friend at a local nature preserve and all that fresh air wore me out! Got lots of awesome pics though.

Looks like I am scraplifting ximxyoursx...heading over to check out your gallery to be inspired!

Rebecca - Congrats on your new albums. They look fantastic!

I love them Rebecca -- I really like the idea of the easel stand. I have several mini's but they would be so much nicer if they could stand up.

I spent the ENTIRE day cooking -- I think I gained 5 lbs. But it was sooooo much fun. have dinners prepped for the next 3 days. Several items in the freezer. Also made some fabulous pumpkin poppers (kind of like donut holes -- YUM).

Spent the last 1/2 playing on the floor with quincy -- he's now snoring. Little foolish boy fell for my plan.
Now I can play on the computer without him chewing on it's corners. bahahahaha

I have hopes the albums will be here at sb.com eventually. Right now I think Angel was taking big orders for stores/etc. I will find out where and when they will be available and post it here! They certainly would make great gifts for the upcoming holidays.

Good morning - my stupid computer rebooted last night, and I lost all my tabs, so now I'm on my way back to figure out where I left off.

Lisa, I made that card yesterday - love the design. I found a sticker I could use since I was in a hurry, but I need to buy some birthday/sentiment stamps for cards to make things easier. That's why I don't do cards much, I think. It's too hard to find alpha stickers the right size with all the right letters left to put the sentiment on a card. And using the Cricut can be hard if the letters need to be small, and it's a pain to glue them all on anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good set of sentiment stamps?

Here's my lift of Lisa's card:

Close to My Heart has a few stamp sets with multiple sentiments. If you go here: http://pamela-tx.ctmh.com/ you can look up "Say It In Style" D1283 or "Card Word Puzzle" C1494. These are 2 sets of acrylic stamps I have and use all the time for different holidays and sentiments.

Eileen- pumpkin poppers sound so yummy! I love anything pumpkin. Can you share the recipe?

Lisa- your card turned out so cute! I think it will be my go to card as well. It was so simple to create and could look different each time. I used the same design on one of my mini's I posted the other day. I used kraft and a pink paislee collection that isn't so vibrant and I loved the different look.
I just went to M's and HL with coupons and stocked up on some basic sentiment stamps there.
My favorite sentiment stamps are Ali Edwards at Technique Tuesdays but they are more pricey. The celebrate on my card is actually one of hers.

Thanks for those who commented on my dad and my son's football game. I ended up taking both my mom and my dad and the coach brought the gator down and picked them up and them brought them back to the car afterward. My mom was having a good day and it was warmer out so even though it wasn't very easy to get her in and out of the gator she got to watch Nathan as well. I know she won't remember it well with her Alzheimer's but I think it meant alot to Nathan to have them both there and they really enjoyed it. Unfortunately they played a team that was twice their size (Don't know where they grew those boys!) and got smashed but Nathan played well and had some great passes. They moved him up to the A team now that he's been back to practicing awhile. He has that game tonight. Although their other qb who just came back from injury was playing running back and got a concussion so Nathan is the only qb and may be playing both teams.

Little Quincy had his photo shoot today. We are so lucky we have an amazing professional photographer who donates her time to take portraits for the rescue I work with. Well he got so worn out -- he passed out right in the middle of hte shoot. I can't wait to see the pics. They are going to be adorable.

Afternoon ladies. Just popping over to catch up on loving so I don't get behind again. Spending some time this afternoon scrapping and then all day tomorrow too! Gotta get cracking on my sister's wedding album again...decided that I want to finish it for her for Christmas and I am only about 1/3 of the way done...eeek!

Lisa - These are some of my favorite sentiment stamp sets. I use them all the time and they have some perfect sentiments on them for lots of different types of cards.

Hi ladies,

Had my first Etsy sale yesterday and shipped it out first thing this morning. Yay!!! So excited!

Congrats Rebecca! How exciting! I need to get one of those easel minis! Sooo cool! Hopefully they will put them on sb.com. I doubt they will make it out here to the NW. We never get any cool scrapbooking stuff out this way.

LisaP~Glad your parents were able to see your son play. I'm sure it meant a lot to your son to have them there. Sorry they didn't win though, booo!
