Tina, I haven't bought it yet. Anxious to know what you think about it. Better than Art Philosophy? Worth the purchase? I love my AP cart and use it a lot, but I really hate to spend that much on another cart.

For the tree, everything was cut with the cricut. i didn't use my trimmer at all. i think this qualifies for the twist...

Norma!! I pulled a winner last Monday on my blog for the giveaway and you are it! Don't know if you saw or not but I owe you some goodies. Good thing I know where to find you And thank you, thank you for coming and peeking at my blog. It really makes my heart happy when I see followers from here. I feel like my friends are right there

Got quite a few done for WCMD. Only 2 to drop off here. The pics aren't the best because it's a yucky day here.

I cut the scallop and circle for the first mini on the left side. Hardly a Cricut worthy card but I did use it! Used Graphically Speaking and Accent Essentials.

Set of Mini's By Lpeeps
Used Graphically speaking for the stars on this. I decided to layer the stars in the same pattern just to add some depth and fun.

Here are a couple of tags. All tags were cut using bags, tags, and boxes. The tree, moon, cat, raven are from Paper doll dress up but I don't remember which cart I used for the fence....it was a leftover piece from ages ago.

I didn't get any scrapping done this weekend. DH was home (he is usually only home on weekends) so we got some stuff done around the house and went to volleyball games Fri. and Sat. evenings.
He stayed home today and we went car shopping! We looked for over an hour and I found just the one I wanted! Bad news is, they had just sold it.
I guess I keep looking. Hopefully I can get some crafting done tomorrow!

submission #2:
You can't tell, but I used the cricut to make the label. I made a brace for the edge because I did not have a tag with a brace at the end. Then, I glued the brace onto the block of paper to make the bg for the title. And, of course, the letters of the monogram. I used Plantin Schoolbook for both. TFL.

Weist monogram By Klweist

Hey all, here's an updated version of yesterday's lo...I was NOT satisfied with it. So, I added some bling on the border and a label on the bottom photo. To me, it makes all the difference. Added bonus, I got a better photo this morning. I have tried different ways to rotate but wasn't able so you have to flip your laptop or your view Thanks for all the great comments and TFL.

All caught up again!
No scrapping for me today. I spent the day in the ER with my Dad. He fell in the middle of the night. My Mom had to call 911 to help get him up (he is 80 and NOT a small man!) I went to see him and he was complaining that his ankle really hurt so I took him to the hospital and found out he broke his ankle! He is not to put weight on it until he sees the ortho. Dr. Well, there is no way my Mom can help get him around if he only has use of one leg so they admitted him to a rehab/nursing home. It took ALL day! Finally at 7pm I took Mom to get some dinner and before we were done, the nursing home called to say that Dad had tried to get up and had fallen (surprise!) so we had to go back and check on him. I am finally getting home and I am exhausted! I am going to bed. Not sure when I will have time to get back to the scrap room - it will depend on how the rest of the week plays out!

Good morning!

Lynn I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I had t go through the same thing with my mom and it was a exhausting. As you will see from the other patients in the rehab/nursing home, not everyone is as lucky to have a loved one near by. The staff does what they can but they are understaffed and overworked. Many blessings to you for helping take care of him and your mom.

Finished 2 more cards and working on another lo. Have a lot of things to do this morning so hopefully I can get in my scrap room this afternoon or evening

Lynn, so sorry about your dad. My dad had to be put in rehab after his recent surgery because he is too large for any of us to handle. He hated it but we were fortunate to have a really good facility that treated him great. Hope your dad can find that same experience and heal quickly. It's so mentally and physically exhausting to deal with this stuff. Hope you can take care of yourself in the midst of it.

Lynn,so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he has a speedy recovery. I'm hoping to prevent something like this with my mother and she is now going thru balance therapy. She has fallen 3 times but luckily hasn't hurt herself. Be sure to take care of yourself, it can be totally exhausting to deal with things like this.

Lynn, hope your dad is on the mend, things like this are never easy.
So yesterday I think I finally got to the bottom of my sickness and weird side effects, after at least 2 months, I think I may be getting better!!
W/O getting into too much detail, I have been anemic and didn't know it, my levels ( and this is all foreign talk to me)
Was at 6. something and should be at 12. something.
So my reg Dr. had me on a big dose of iron to get myself back to normal. My OB/GYN about had a fit, so I am having a small procedure on Tues, to be sure this doesn't happen to me again. She said my levels are about the lowest she has seen and couldn't believe I was functioning this way for so long.
Anyway, hope to be back to normal at some point!!!
Hope everyone else is well.

Here are a few more circut items I have worked on in the last week. Our October kit over at Funtoolas included a mini album. I have only done one other album so this was definitely a challenge for me. I kept the album pretty simple so I wouldn't get so overwhelmed and frustrated. These are the pages that I used my cricut on. (There are other pages in my gallery that I didn't post since the cricut wasn't used.)

The card above in my previous post matches the album cover. I intended for them to be very similar since they will go together as a little gift for my dd who is moving to Texas soon. The photos are of the last weekend we were all together. DSIL is already in Texas (Fort Bliss) and DD plans to join him in November. TFL!

Hi ladies. I'm home!!!!
My little procedure turned into a 9 hr ordeal. My oxygen levels would not cooperate, so I had to stay until my oxygen held the right number for at least a half hour. It took ALL DAY!!
I feel good, just sore. Hoping to be up and at it tomorrow!!
Off to get ACU!

Good morning!

Thanks, Norma!

Trish, hope you are feeling better today!

Kelly, right now my go to cart is Art Philosophy. It is pricey, but so worth it, to me anyway! And like some of the others posted, I really like Elegant Edges too.

Have a great day ladies!

Victorian Romance for the heart banner.

The card above in my previous post matches the album cover. I intended for them to be very similar since they will go together as a little gift for my dd who is moving to Texas soon. The photos are of the last weekend we were all together. DSIL is already in Texas (Fort Bliss) and DD plans to join him in November. TFL!

Just noticed that you are a Steelers fan...so are we. In fact, DD went to Pgh for her field trip yesterday. They toured Heinz field and went to the Carnegie Science Center. My mom grew up in McKeesport and I have family from Homestead. Here we go, Steelers!!

Kelly, Heath Miller #83 grew up not far from where we live. I followed his football career when he was a Tiger (ms & HS), a Cavalier(college), and now a Steeler. He was very impressive back in his middle and sr high school years. I've been to Pittsburg but never to one of their games, unfortunately.

Trish- Hope you are feeling better today. I know we haven't met yet, but I'm close by if you need something!

Anna- your album is beautiful.

Kelly- I love my Graphically Speaking and I really like my Ribbons and Rosettes. Graphically Speaking has some great phrases but also some really good basic shapes. Ribbons and Rosettes is awesome for borders of all sizes. It also has some great shapes that they use as the centers of the rosettes but are really good for all around too. Straight from the Nest seems to be one I use alot too.
